 We usually use SOME in affirmative
sentences:
There are some lemons in the refrigerator.
I need some potatoes.
ANY
 We use ANY in negative sentences:
There aren´t any eggs in the refrigerator.
I don´t need any broccoli.
 We usually use ANY in questions.

 We use SOME in both countable and
uncountable nouns:
There are some apples and there is some
sugar.
Is there any milk in the refrigerator?
Are there any bananas in the kitchen?
Do you need any lemons to make Ceviche?

Fruit Salad
Fruit salad is a delicious dessert. It´s healthy. It´s
easy to make and it´s good for you.

To make it , you need a papaya and you need a

pineapple. Also, you need some apples and
some bananas. You need some oranges .
Additionally, you need some yogurt and some
cereal.However, you don´t need any sugar.

In conclusion, it´s easy to make fruit salad. I love

it. I make it every weekend.

1.There are two types of nouns: count

and non- count nouns. We can use them
to talk about food or other things.

2. We use some and any to express quantity.

Some is used in the case of affirmative
sentences. Any is used in the case of
negative sentences and questions.
