Fall Elementary PBA Meeting


Directions: After reviewing the PBA and FC data and meeting with your mentor and PDS Coordinator
for the PBA Meeting, identify your areas of strength and needed growth then set SMART (Specific,
Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely) Goals to work towards as you continue your internship.

Strengths:
- Good at “Faking it till you make it”
- Able to communicate well with students and building relationships
- Students know they can come to you

Areas for Growth:


- Planning- not overthinking, just doing
- Classroom managements- don't be afraid to ask them to fix behaviors

Goals:
- Find a classroom management technique that will work for you. Have plans for early finishers
- Be very clear with sharing expectations and praise students who are meeting/exceeding
expectations

Fall Secondary PBA Meeting


Directions: After reviewing the PBA and FC data and meeting with your mentor and PDS Coordinator
for the PBA Meeting, identify your areas of strength and needed growth then set SMART (Specific,
Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely) Goals to work towards as you continue your internship.

Strengths:
- Communicating well with the students and building relationships
- Having alternative ways to assess, communicate, and connect with different types of students

- Having more cultural examples and resources to provide students
- Setting expectations of behavior
- Getting student’s attention for lessons/presentations

Goals:

- Setting an expectation of behavior while doing demos and presentations

Directions: Using the data you have collected throughout your internship, identify your areas of
strength and your areas of needed growth. Identify which PBA standards and edTPA rubrics align with
those areas. Create goals based on this data collection.

Areas of Strength:
- Knowledgeable about the arts and content that can connect with the students.
- ability to engage the students at a variety of levels is beyond expectation
- Takes the time to meet with students, resolve questions and problems, work through ideas all
while maintaining the flow and routine of the classroom environment
- Provides clear expectations and guides throughout the lessons. Students are provided with
opportunities to exercise their self expression and show their growth in the skills taught using
academic language.
- The students with IEPs are supported accordingly and the ELL students are provided many
opportunities to communicate in their native language and practice their English.
- Students appreciate her flexibility, attentiveness, and level of engagement.
- Has become a confident teacher and shares her content knowledge through rigor and
reflection.
- Utilizes technology as a tool in the class
