MY EXPERIENCE IN JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA

It’s a great opportunity to work and teach in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. I have
learnt new tool and techniques of teaching. Joining Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti,
I understood the beautiful bond between a teacher and students. Here the relation
between a teacher and student is very beautiful and cordial. The best thing here
about student is that they did not hesitate to ask. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is
the place where students and teachers live together as like family. One of best
things is that JNV has three language policy and it will helps to develop overall
personality of a students as well teachers. It not only the place for academics but
also involve students and teachers to participate in many co-curricular activities.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya also have one of the system of migration of
students which allows students to comprehend the country’s diversity and thereby
ensuring our national integrity. Navodaya Vidyalaya is just like a family far from
my family and native place. It connects us from other states of our country.
Colleagues from different states are appointed. So we get opportunity to know
more about different cultures of our country. Here students are really creative. I
felt just like family here, students are like my children to me in school. I am their
teacher, philosopher, councillor and parents. Students feel free to share their
thoughts to me and I too feel great they tell me more about their culture, more
about their place and etc. I am enjoying the environment in JNV as I have been
very enthusiastic about different sports and cultural activities. I like being
surrounded by students. Being with children sometimes bring my childhood back.
I enjoy being here a lot. It’s a great joy to serve as a teacher in modern gurukul
like JNV as well as feel very privileged to be the part of the great nation building
endeavour as teacher.
