EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The following report is written as a part of a compulsory requirement for


the Summer Internship Program under the MBA program at the Symbiosis
Institute of Business Management, Nagpur which is a constituent of
Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. This report is based on the
project given by the organization RAH Advertising Titled "Digital
Marketing". The main purpose of the project was to learn Email marketing
and how to generate leads via Email Marketing and cold calling.

The project was completed under the supervision of Mr. Abhishek


Dehariyaa, at RAH Advertising. The report is a part of the credit
fulfillment for the MBA program.

The outcome of the report is based on the analysis carried out during the
period of 8 weeks from 27th April 2023 to 24th June 2023 with a weekly
workload of 6 days a week.

The main objective of this report is to know my progress during an


internship, what I can learn, and what I learned during my MBA, I tried
to do there.

INTRODUCTION

PROJECT OVERVIEW

In the duration of two months in the organization, the project assigned to


me was "Digital Marketing". The objective of the project was to work on
Email Marketing, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Google Ads and
analyze Ads results, Cold Calling, and Market Research (Lead
Generation) and write content or find trends in clients' niches.

RAH Advertising allotted me USA and UK markets for lead generation


my work was to analyze their social media and website to find some
glitches or improvements and write customized mail and find some new
business and send them a Mail using the RAH ADVERTISING Email
marketing dashboard.

In Ads management, my work was Set a Ads on platforms like Facebook,


Instagram and google with my project guide Mr. Abhishek Dehariyaa and
analyze their result and find improvements in ads and give generated
leads to the clients.

In Cold calling, I was used G-Map Extractor to collect data for cold
calling in a particular region and particular niche.

In Content writing and research, my work was to write or research


funny/Humorous and trendy content and give it to clients for reels video.

SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

Scope
The scope of my project was to generate leads for our Digital Marketing,
Social Media marketing service.

Objective
• The objective of the project was to understand the Email marketing
and power of Email Marketing.
• How to collect data from abroad/foreign markets and how to pitch
them our service.
• How to do cold calling and how to handle the opposite person via
call.
• How to set Ads on social media platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, and google for lead generation and analyzed them.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

RAH Advertising is a startup firm of 3 youngsters. RAH Advertising


was founded by Mr. Abhishek Dehariyaa, Mr. Ruturaj Ganvir, and Mr.
Harshal Dharbade in the year 2018.
Mr. Ruturaj Ganvir is a member of the Rotary Club and BNI group.

RAH Advertising is a service-based company and its services are social


media marketing, Performance Marketing, Strategic Planning, Web
Development, Branding, Email Marketing, Influencer Marketing, and
Videography.

RAH advertising 150+ clients, RAH Advertisings' major client is real


estate, car detailing, Doctors, business-like super Mart, tattoo studios and
etc. RAH Advertising also manages to complete 300+ projects and 75+
campaigns.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The work assigned was important work for the entire RAH Advertising
team
My roles and responsibilities are:
• Market Research (Lead Generation): Do research in foreign
markets and found some improvements in their website and social
media account and write a customized mail to them pointing out
improvements and how we help them.
• Email Marketing: Using RAH Advertising Email dashboard
Pannel I was sending a bulk email and measuring an Email
campaign result.
• Ads Manager: Using the client's social media account set an Ad on
their business account and measure them and analyzed them and
give leads to the client.
• Performance Marketing: Measure a client's past performance and
try to improve their current performance or give suggestions to the
client or Project guide.
• Cold Calling: using G-map Extractor to collect the data of a
particular region and sort them and import into an Excel file and
call and pitch them RAH Advertising services as per their need.

My Responsibility was to handle all the Email Marketing campaigns and


deliver from time to time according to a particular country's time zone.
Also, I'm responsible for Writing content for RAH Advertising clients for
reels.

Market Research: -

In the Market research task, my work was research on foreign markets


like the USA, Canada, UK, etc., and finding decided niches client's Email
id and social media via using some Email Extractor tools and analyzing
their social media account like their post's date and time, are they are
consistent or not while posting content, image quality and point out
another point and also analyze their website, for some improvement in
their website or not and write in excel file.

Email Marketing: -
I was using RAH Advertising's Email Dashboard Panel for Email
Marketing Campaigns. I handled 5 Email Marketing campaigns during
the tenure of my internship.

Using this dashboard, we are able to send emails in bulk to clients.


Using this dashboard, we can see who is opening our mail, who clicked
on our social media and website, and how much time they spend reading
mail, social media, and website also we can send customized mail via this
dashboard.
How to set Email Campaign: -
• First, we can create a list means importing an Email from an excel
CSV file
• Click on Newsletter
• Then select New Campaign

In this dashboard creating the list is very important without creating a list
we can't send mail to another person.
Steps of Creating List: -
1. Select Add New
2. Give a name to list
3. Then save
4. Select subscribers

Content Research: -

I started by doing a lot of study on the most recent developments in the


dental and dermatology fields. I researched the typical issues patients
encountered, the remedies on the market, and the finest techniques
employed by top business professionals. based upon

Using the results of my study, I produced interesting and educational


content for potential clients.

I concentrated on issues like teeth whitening and overall oral hygiene for
dentists.

To make sure the information was current and pertinent, I also conducted
research on the newest dental techniques and technology, like Invisalign
and dental implants. I concentrated on themes for dermatologists like
acne treatment, anti-aging remedies, and skincare regimens for various
skin types.

In addition, I compose follow-up emails and emails for social media


improvement, website improvement, video editing, and digital marketing
service.

Facebook and Instagram Ads Manager: -

Facebook and Instagram ads managers are very powerful tools for
advertising or digitally promoting business. Using this tool, we can target
people according to our feasibility like age group, demography, and a
particular set of people or groups.
Every month Facebook ads manager gives new-new features to digital
marketers so it's difficult for new digital marketers to understand.

I gain knowledge about Facebook Ads Manager and how to use it to


design and oversee Facebook ad campaigns. I gained knowledge on how
to create various kinds of accounts, including personal accounts, business
accounts, and ad accounts.

I learned how to create effective Facebook ads, both picture and video
ads. This will allow me to reach specific audiences, like their age, gender,
interests, demographics, and behaviors.

Additionally, I will learn how to construct company pages that engage


with your target audience. also, I have gained knowledge in building
successful ad campaigns, ad packs, and individual ads.

In doing so I have also learned strategies to enhance their overall


performance. By carefully analyzing the data from previous campaigns. I
was able to identify areas that need improvement. Also, I explored the
concept of retargeting campaigns, which serve to target individuals who
have previously interacted with the Company's website or Facebook
page.

Data Extractor: -
I'm collecting data with G-Map Extractor. The G-Map extractor is a
powerful and handy tool for obtaining leads or data from Google.

G-Map Extractor is a data extraction program. We can obtain their


company information using these techniques, which benefits us. G-Map
Extractor is a tool for generating B2B leads. This extractor and G-Map
are used by many digital marketing organizations. The extractor is
compensated.

I'm able to find our decided niche business information, such as the
owner's mobile number, Email address, business address, and social
media information, by using these tools, which will assist me pitch our
service accordingly. Using this tool, we can acquire worldwide data using
these techniques based on our objectives.

How to use G-Map Extractor:

Start G-Map Extractor => Add Category (Your Target business e.g., Car
detailing and Gym) => Add Location (Select your targeted country, state,
city) => click ok and remove previous data if you have => Then tick on
category and location and click on get data. This tool gives us sorted and
updated data of business so we can easily export given data in our Excel
sheet or spreadsheet.

Cold Calling: -
Cold calling is a very broad term but in short Cold Calling means calling
a business owner and promoting our business and how I helping you to
grow your business.

Most students, like myself, believe that cold calling is the worst, however
cold calling is quite effective for promoting our services.

Scripts are utilized a little bit in this work because you might answer
according to the question and you don't know which question originates
from another person.

I'd had a variety of answers from potential clients. Some were


enthusiastic about the service, while others were not. Some had a
question, while others objected. I can deal with these reactions not
effectively, but in a positive way. These tasks boost my confidence and
minimize my anxiety.

ANALYSIS OF DATA

Facebook Ads Analysis: -

Analyzing the performance of Facebook ads is a difficult undertaking. In


this work, I will do and learn how to create leads from Facebook
advertisements, as well as how to set a demographic and a platform.
Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger are examples of platforms.

While analyzing an Ad campaign, I looked at the previous month's data to


see how we spent money per click, how much money was spent on the
campaign, and whether this money was worth a campaign or not. Reach,
Impression, and Clicks were also examined.

The number of persons reached by your form is referred to as its reach.


The number of persons that repeatedly clicked on your form is referred to
as its impression.

In demographic analysis, we looked at which age groups performed well


and which gender groups produced results for our campaign. In summary,
the demographic chart illustrates how your ad performs across different
ages and genders, and you may examine each portion of the chart to get
unique results by age and group.

The findings were then analyzed and discussed with my project guide sir,
who provided insight and suggestions for improving or adjusting various
aspects of our campaign.

Learning: -

1. Market Research: -

In the ERA of AI and digitalization Market research skill is very


useful for any marketer without market research no one can buy a
product or service as well as no one can pitch their service to other
businesses so without Market research difficult to choose which
product or service is best as well as which business or business
owner is best.

While doing market research I see many businesses and


competition in the foreign market but the foreign market is stable
and growing day by day.

While collecting data I see many business owners hide their data
from digital marketers.

2. Ads Analysis: -

Facebook ads analysis monitors the reach and impression of the


campaign, evaluates engagement rate, tracks Facebook social
media referrals, calculates the click-through rates (CTR), calculates
your return on Ad spend, measures conversion rates, calculates
CPC and CPM, and calculates a number of page likes and follows.

Click through Rate (CTR)= Clicks / Impression * 100

Return on ads spend = Revenue/ad cost

Conversion Rate = Number of Conversion / Number of clicks

As a symbiosis student, they expect me to, he can deliver good


content and write efficient mail and attract an opposite person to
give a reply. And I'm successful in this.

3. Analytics skill: -

During my internship, I analyzed Facebook ads campaign results


and study on this and analyze where we wrong and how to
overcome this mistake, and how we create more attractive ads next
time.

CHALLENGES FACED DURING THE PROJECT

As a digital marketer at RAH Advertising, I encountered specific
challenges during my internship period. My period as an intern at RAH
Advertising was an enriching experience having lots of learning as well
as setbacks which of course every intern faces at an organization.

Challenges face and How I overcome this: -

• While collecting information some business owner hides their


information and I overcome this using some extension tools and
data scraper tools.

• While cold calling some business owners can't receive calls and
some business owners can't speak properly.

• While Email Marketing some business owners can't open mail, if


open so they while not respond so I will change the mail format
and point out their mistakes.

• Another challenge faced during Email Marketing was sometimes


emails going to spam or the promotion folder so I will change
some keywords in emails, and change the subject line for mails.

1. During my internship period, I was giving more leads and trying to
convert them into a RAH Advertising client. Currently, they are in
the negotiation stage with 1 foreign client and 3 local clients.

I have been working at RAH Advertising as a digital marketing executive trainee,

The first day of the internship is all about the introduction to a team and understanding
the Company's services and the Niche market of the Company's services.

RAH advertising's services are social media marketing, Performance Marketing,


Strategic Planning, Web Development, Branding, Email Marketing, Influencer
Marketing, and Videography.

I have been Working on Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, Email


Marketing, and Strategic Planning.

I'm pleased to Submit my week 1 internship report for Email Marketing, Writing Mail,
and Market research (Finding Leads or Potential Customers for the organization). It has
been an exciting and challenging week, as I have learned a lot about the Company's
email marketing strategies and how to write effective mail and find potential leads from
the market via researching the market.
During the first week of the internship, I was introduced to the team and the given

A brief overview of the Company's Email marketing goal and strategy. I was also given
access to the Company's Email marketing software and tools, which allowed me to learn
how to create new email campaigns, create new lists and add contacts or emails to the
list, and send Emails in bulk. Which Subscriber open a mail, clicks on the profile link,
social media page link, and Company's website link, and which subscriber unsubscribe
a mail.

My Primary task for the week was to write a series of Emails for a company's service.
I worked closely with the team to understand the target audience, service benefits and
features of the service, and how we help to reach your goal/Aim. After researching I
drafted a series of Emails that were checked by my guide and edited for grammatical
mistakes and style of writing.

In addition to writing emails, I also learned about Email automation, in market


research/Lead generation, my primary focus is on understanding the business
objectives, target audience of the Company, and competition of the Company. This
involves identifying potential customers who may be interested in the Company's
service and collecting their contact information for further outreach. I learned how to
search for potential leads, how we can reach them, how to find their Emails for sending
emails, and how to use the extension, email tracker/ extractor. I was given access to the
Company's email analytics dashboard, which allowed me to see/Measure how email
campaigns perform and how we could improve our email strategy/Campaign.

I was also taught the importance of personalization or customization in Email writing.


Personalization/customization involves addressing the recipient by their name and
tailoring the content of the email to their interest and needs. This help to create a sense
of connection with the customer and can increase the chances of them engaging with
the email.

Overall, my first week in the Email Writing, and Email Marketing department was a
great learning experience. I gained a solid understanding of email marketing and how
it can be used to engage with customers and increases sales. I'm trying to improve
myself and skills and acquire new skills. In market research, I gained a solid
understanding of lead generation and how it can be used to identify potential customers
and collect their contact information. I also learned how to use various lead-generation
methods such as online research, social media research, and Email Campaigns.

During the second week of my internship, I was working on lead generation, writing
customized mail, and learning how to use Facebook Ads Manager. The summary of my
activities in this week.

Lead Generation:
We worked most of the second week investigating prospective customers and creating
an inventory of contacts for the sales team. I gathered information on those customers
using multiple internet resources and other channels, like their websites, social media
accounts, and industry trends.
In addition, I discovered where to take advantage of several lead-providing advertising
leaders, all of which are strong tools employed by sales personnel to discover
prospective consumers and establish associations with people. This app assisted me in
creating an individualized leads database by permitting me to locate potential customers
in certain sectors and locations.

Customized Mail:
Last weekend, I was tasked with developing personalized emails for current customers.
Personalized marketing has become crucial in creating excellent customer relationships
while sustaining them. I studied every customer's company goals and specifications
before crafting a personalized email to address and respond to their problems. I was
also sure the email was visually stunning, easy to read, and had a solid call to action.
Several customers appreciated this personalized approach or mentioned wanting to
engage with this Company again in the future. I completed subsequent emails and then
sent them in bulk using the firm's Email dashboard while also learning some new
features in the dashboard.

Understanding Facebook Ads Manager:


I came upon Facebook Ads Manager. It has the ability to create and manage Facebook
campaigns. I had to learn how to create several Account types, including personal
accounts, corporate accounts, and business sites. Then I was taught ways to make

multiple kinds of Social ads, such as video and picture advertising, and also audience-
specific ads depending on my age, gender, the population, and habits. I learned how to
create ad packs for better performance. I started by examining prior ad data and looking
for opportunities for development. Attempts at targeting grabbed my curiosity.
Consumers used to engage with the organization's website and Facebook page, enticing
individuals, according to this. I learned how to design remarketing ads and track their
success.

Conclusion:
The following month of my work experience, I improved identically compared to the
initial week. I have experience creating leads, personalized mail, and Facebook Ads
Manager. Additionally, I gained the imp of analyzing internet advertising data and how
to utilize it to optimize efforts and boost ROI. I'm excited to put all of these skills into
practice in the days to come and contribute to this agency's achievement.

I'm pleased to report to you with my progress throughout the third month of work. This
week, My worked on article investigation, producing advertising dentist and
physicians, or selling via Instagram for their respective companies.

Content Research and writing


Initially I performed a thorough investigation into most recent dentists and
dermatological industry developments. I examined a number of commonly encountered
problems people knowledge, the therapies accessible plus the most effective follows
utilised by industry experts. I developed educational and entertaining material for
potential consumers based on this study.

I specialized on the whitening of teeth & general oral hygiene for dentists. Additionally,
I the latest dental advancements and therapy, like Invisalign yet implants for teeth, so
the information was contemporary as useful. I concentrated on blemish medication,
rejuvenating solutions, and beauty habits for various skin types for physicians.

We displayed the work on Fb using targeted ads after causing content. To make sure
the the advertising targeted the right individuals, I carefully selected the age range and
interests of those who saw it. Fo oral stuff, for instance, They targeted folks who had
been interested in oral health, dental care, and cosmetic dentistry. It target individuals
who wanted beauty aesthetic products, and anti-aging therapies for dermatological
substance.

I also used A/B testing to see which advertisements worked best and made the necessary
modifications. For example, I experimented with different ad syntax, visuals, and calls
to action to see which ones resonated most strongly with people viewing. In addition, I
ran tests with various target audiences to determine which ones had the most responses.

Challenges
Creating stuff that was simultaneously witty, amusing, instructive, and fascinating was
one of the challenges I faced. I had to strike a balance between providing essential

information and making the writing exciting and easy to read. To get around this, I
utilised a conversational tone and graphics like images and videos to make the content
more interesting.

Another issue was determining the optimal demographic for Facebook advertising. I
wanted to make certain that the adverts reached individuals who were interested in the
services offered by dentists and dermatologists. To fix the problem, I used Facebook's
audience data to learn about the target demographic's demographics and interests.

Conclusion
Finally, I believe my efforts over the last week were successful in publicising
companies seeking physicians or dermatologists on Facebook. I learned a lot about

Analyzing Facebook Ads Performance:
My primary task for this week was to analyze Facebook ads for our client.
I analyzed the lead generation ad campaign.

Analyzing Facebook ads performance is a quite difficult task. In this task, I


will do and learn how to generate leads from Facebook ads, how to set
demographic, and how to set a platform. Platform means Facebook, Instagram,
and Messenger.

While analyzing an Ad campaign I analyzed the past 1 month's data to analyze


performance, how we spent money per click, how much amount spent on the
campaign, and whether this money was valued for a campaign or not. Also
analyzed Reach, Impression, and clicks.

Reach means how many people your form reach


Impression means how many people clicked on your form again and again.
In demographic analysis, which age category we focused on is best performing
and which gender category gives a result for our campaign. In short, The
demographic chart shows how your ad performance across different ages and
genders, and you can check each section of the chart to see individual results
age, and group.

Then analyzed the results and discuss them with my project guide sir and gives
insight and suggestions for improving or changing some points in our
campaign.

Providing generated leads to the client. (Via Facebook ad campaign):
We create a lead-generation Facebook and Instagram ad campaign for our real estate
business client.
We create a form in the ad, and interested people fill out the form this data is shared
with the client and gives some potential leads to the client.

Help in writing scripts for cold calling:


In the meeting of our Company, we decided to start the cold calling for a new niche
market and find some new clients in that particular niche. So, we decided to start cold
calling. For cold calling our team researched cold calling strategy and find some general
questions which are asked by other parties and how to answer them properly.

Then brainstorm on how to start a conversation on call and how to pitch our service and
try to ask for a physical or Zoom call meeting based on brainstorming we write a script
for cold calling.

Next week we can find our decided niche market data using the G-map extractor and
start cold calling.

Send Bulk and Personalized Email:


This week also I'm sending bulk Follow up emails and sending some personalized
emails.

Conclusion:
This week of internship was also productive and learning fully. This week I learned
how to analyze a Facebook ad campaign, identify potential leads via ad campaign, and
found some new tools on Email Dashboard.
This task helped me in developing my skills in digital marketing and sales.

Extract Data Using an Extractor


I'm using G-map Extractor for collecting data. The G-Map extractor is a powerful and
useful tool for collecting/extracting leads or data from Google.

G-Map extractor is a data scraping tool using these tools we are able to collect their
business information which helps us. G-Map extractor is a B2B lead generation
platform and many digital marketing agencies use this extractor and G-Map extractor
is paid.

Via using these tools I'm able to find our decided niche business information like the
owner's mobile number, Email Address, business address, and social media
information which is help me to pitch our service according to that. Using these tools,
we are able to collect worldwide data according to our target.

How to use G-Map Extractor:


Start G-Map Extractor => Add Category (Your Target business e.g., Car detailing and
Gym) => Add Location (Select your targeted country, state, city) => click ok and
remove previous data if you have => Then tick on category and location and click on
get data.

This tool gives us sorted and updated data of business so we can easily export given
data in our Excel sheet or spreadsheet.

Cold Calling
As I mentioned in the previous week's report we (RAH Advertising) create various
scripts for cold-calling campaign, so we start doing calls and promoting our Company

and our services and pitching them. Most of the students think cold calling is the
worst also me but cold calling is very good for pitching our services. In this task
scripts are a little bit used you can answer according to the question and you don't
know which question comes from another person.

I'd encountered different types of responses from potential clients. Some were
interested in the service while others were not. Some had a question while others had
an objection. I'm able to handle these responses not effectively but in a good way.
These task gives me confidence and reduces my fear.

Attend an Email marketing workshop


By the way, my primary task is email marketing, but due to low responses, I was
asked to attend this workshop.

In that workshop, I learned, the importance of Email marketing in today's digital era,
how to create an effective subject line, how to create and design an email that is
visually appealing and easy to read, why your mail going to spam, and promotional
folder and how to avoid it.

I also learned about the different types of email campaigns such as newsletters,
promotional emails, and automated emails and how to segment or list our mail based
on customer behavior, and how to personalize our email.

Handling Google Ad campaign


During the sixth week of my internship, I was given the responsibility of creating and
handling a Google ad campaign for a client in the Real Estate industry. The objective
of the campaign was to increase website and social media traffic and drive more sales.
I started by doing research on the target market for the customer, looking into their
demographics and search patterns. This allow me in locating pertinent keywords that
were most likely to bring visitors to the client's social media page and website and
convert them into clients. In order to find ideas, for how to make the client's advertising
campaign stand out from the crowd, I also researched the marketing tactics of the
client's rivals.

Once I had sufficient information, I created a numbers of ad copy variations while


ensuring they complied with Google Ads standards and best practices. This ad copy
was written with the intention of drawing readers in and convincing them to visit the
client's social media page and website. In order to persuade the target demographic to
click on the ads, I also wrote catchy headlines and ad descriptions.

I set up the campaign on Google Ads after the ad copy was prepared, making sure the
targeting parameters were set appropriately to reach the target market. This was crucial
since it controlled whether the correct people interested in the client's goods and
services would see the advertising efforts. In addition to other filters, I chose the
geographic regions where the ads would appear to make sure only relevant viewers
were targeted.

Analysis of Google Campaigning


I closely monitored the campaign's effectiveness throughout the week by examining
metrics like click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost per click. This made it easier

for me to spot places where the campaign's performance could be enhanced, including
by enhancing the targeting possibilities or modifying the ad wording. For instance, I
might change the title or description of an advertisement if the click-through rate for
that particular ad was poor.

After reviewing the campaign's outcomes at the end of the week, I saw that it had
significantly increased the client's social media page and website traffic and generated
some leads. It was a good success because the campaign had given the customer a
favorable return on investment.

In the next week, I want to keep an eye on how the campaign is performing and make
adjustments as required to make sure it keeps giving the client happy results. To be
current and relevant to the audience, advertising efforts need to be constantly reviewed
and updated. As a result, I will be paying close attention to metrics, looking for areas
of weakness, and changing approaches to improve the performance of the campaign as
a whole.

Conclusion
In conclusion, creating and handling a Google ad campaign was an exciting and
enriching experience. Through research, strategic planning, and careful execution, we
managed to drive traffic and increase sales for the client. I look forward to applying this
knowledge to future campaigns and helping clients achieve their marketing goals.
