MANNA TIME WEEK 13

 What is a prayer for you?

 Still tradition?
 Ritual?
 A good luck charm?
 Part of the some of religious check list done?
 To appease a higher being so we can get what
we want?
 Or at least avoid lightning bolt?

Genesis 1:28-29
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and
subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature
that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and
every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the
earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—
everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.


Genesis 2:16
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from
any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly
die.”

 And we can do communication with God with prayer.

Why are we have to pray?

 Because He will give us His way to live in this world

 Philippians 4:6-7
 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
