Experience of support/care work relevant to the

service
Ability to supervise and manage your own team
 
effectively
Knowledge of the needs and rights of people with
 
mental health problems/learning disabilities.
Ability to monitor and manage budgets, ensuring

resources are allocated effectively.
Evidence of ability to lead and motivate others in the
achievement of agreed goals and objectives within  
required timescales.
Evidence of ability to develop and maintain effective
and productive relationships with your team, your   
clients & external agencies.
Effective time management and organisation skills
 
Ability to prioritise the workload of self and others.
  
Effective decision maker and problem solver;
considers the information that is available, identifies  
options and makes timely decisions.
An understanding of Health and Safety issues, Risk

Assessment and Risk Management.
Able to complete relevant documents accurately,
  
including financial records, reports and support plans.
Understanding of diversity issues in the workplace.

Current Driving Licence

Willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in

Health and Social Care and/or Management
Ability to use Microsoft Office packages to a good
 
standard, including Word and Excel
DESIRABLE
(Skills/experience which would be an advantage in the post)
Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and/or

Management
