The Philippine Education System has, since time immemorial, has been beset with a series of problems.

Some of these include lack of classrooms and facilities, the drop-out rate, affordability, and issues
regarding the K-12. With the Covid-19 pandemic, the Philippine Education System has encountered new
challenges. Face to face classes were cancelled and teachers and students alike were forced to adjust to
a series of relatively new learning system, among these are modular and online classes. As a result,
students underwent tremendous pressure to beat the deadline in completing their modules. Some even
couldn’t handle it and unfortunately driven into taking their own lives.
With the way things are right now, I believe the solution for this is to troubleshoot and fix any issues
confronting the so-called new normal in our education. Students should be given more time in
completing their modules and not be caused any more stress. This pandemic will undoubtedly last
longer than expected and I do think there is enough time to fix whatever that needs to be fixed.
