Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon

the opposite party no.1/State through the office of the learned Public Prosecutor,

High Court, Calcutta and upon the opposite party no.2 by speed post with

acknowledgement due and file affidavit of service on the next date fixed for

hearing.

Learned advocate for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this court

to the brief facts of the case to the report under Section 173 of the Cr.PC

wherefrom it is an admitted position that a commercial transaction was carried out

for Rs.1,99,00,000/-, out of Rs.1,70,00,000/- was paid to the complainant but

there were outstanding of Rs.29,99,000/- . The present case has been initiated and

chargesheet has been submitted under Sections 420/406 IPC in connection with

Kolaghat P. S. Case No. 635 of 2022 dated 20-02-2022.

Having regard to the nature of the case and the charges for which the

petitioner has been called to face the trial, I am of the view that the revisional

application he heard under the heading “Contested Application”.

Accordingly, list this revisional application under the heading “Contested

Application” in the monthly list of August, 2024.

Pending hearing of the revisional application, further proceedings of

Kolaghat P. S. Case No. 635 of 2022 dated 20-12-2022 before the Chief Judicial

Magistrate, Purba Medinipore be stayed till 31st August, 2024.

All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly

downloaded from the official website of this court.
