I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:
 Identify the different rhythmic pattern and combinations of strong and slow beat
 Explain the difference of rhythmic pattern
 Demonstrate understanding pertaining to rhythmic pattern

II. Introduction
Preliminary Activity:
1. Prayer
2. Greetings
3. Checking of attendance
4. Motivational Activity

III. Interaction
Activity: Video Presentation
Clap with the rhythm song “Bells are ringing”
Discussion: Discuss the topic: Rhytmic Patter and placement of the accent
Give time to answer on the text book
Materials: Laptop, Text books, Powerpoint presentation

IV. Integration
Wrap up the lesson by letting the students answer the question:
Why rhythmic pattern is important in composing music?
What is the impact of rhythmic patter to our daily life?

 Identify the proper placements of the symbols

Sing the song “Tayo na”
Discussion: Discuss the topic: Rhytmic Patter and placement of the accent
Give time to answer on the text book
Present to them a simple rhythmic pattern with bar lines and time signature
Materials: Laptop, Text books, Powerpoint presentation

Wrap up the lesson by letting the students answer the question:
1. Where can find the time signature of the song?
2. What do we use to cut or to group the notes and the rest according to their time
signature?
