HCANIANS UNITE FOR PALARO 2023

HCANIANS UNITE: Holy Child’s Academy Launching Palaro Fest 2023

Holy Child’s Academy inaugurated he school’s first ever Palaro Fest with the theme:
"Pagpapatatag ng Samahan sa Larangan ng Isports.” As one of the most anticipated
activities, students flocked to the HCA campus ground with refreshed excitement during the
opening salvo on November 9.

The celebration commenced with a parade where students and teachers walk more than 5
kilometers under the sun’s embrace. Following the parade, the opening program was
spearheaded with a doxology by Vox Lux Et Vita Cantus and opening remarks by senior
high coordinator Mr. Lito Nillama. The Duyog Indak Dance Troupe also serenaded the more
than a thousand crowd of students with a contemporary dance.

As the limelight of the ceremony, the hoisting of the banners was a visual delight for the
hyped HCAnian crowd. Each team showed off their loudest roars to represent their grade
level, starting with the Grade 7 Rousing Tamaraws up to the Grade 12 Vigorous Panthers.

Grade 10 howling wolves clinched the overall best yell, and St. Therese of Avila secured the
overall junior champion title, while St. Philomena and St. Therese of Calcutta earned the
same award in senior high. A rhythmic ‘Tiktok’ dance show dance heated up the campus
ground for the last time to close the event with a beat.
