1. Draw a perpendicular line from the left side of the left side of the pattern paper. 2. A is the corner of a perpendicular line. 3. AB is 3” downward for neck depth 4. AC is 5” downward for the chest line 5. AD is ½ “ of armhole measurement 6. AE is front figure measurements 7. Square out or draw horizontal lines for A, B, C, D and E to the right Horizontally Measured 8. AF is 3” to the right 9. AG is ½” of shoulder measurement 10. GH is 1 ½” down. Connect FB to shape the front neckline using a French curve. Connect FH with a straight line to show the shoulder slope. 11. CI is ½” of chest measurement or ½” of shoulder measurement minus ¾ “. Connect HI with a line. 12. DJ is ¼ of the bust. Connect IJ with a French curve to shape the armhole. 13. EK is ¼ of waist measurement to the right plus 1” for the dart. Connect JK with a line. 14. AD1 is bust height measurement downward. 15. D1 to L is ½ of bust distance to the right. Square down or draw vertical from L to line EK and mark the intersection as M. 16. D1 L is equal to EM. Measure ½” on sides of M. Connect each side of M to L to manifest the waist dart. 17. KN is ½” upward in line JK. Connect MN using the hip curve.
