• Led and supervised a project team of 13 and various technical working groups, focusing on planning,
implementation, resource utilization, milestone M&E, & performance reporting.
• Actively contributed to the mainstreaming of social & environmental issues in project
implementation, adhering to agreed safeguard & environmental instruments and standards.
• Supervised procurement, contract management, negotiation, and amendments with vendors/firms,
ensuring compliance with financer guidelines, accountability, and ethical performance standards. All

• Significantly contributed to the development of the National Logistics Strategy (NLS), identifying issues
and creating comprehensive projects, programs, and funding strategies, validated by stakeholders and
under implementation since 2019.
• Contributed to diagnostic trade integration studies (UNCTAD 2016) and analytical work on Ethiopian
transportation (AfDB, 2015). Review reports were submitted timely.

• Participated in problem identification, data collection, and stakeholder meetings (government Ministries
and private sector) for the WB team from Washington and Ethiopia Country Office, laying the
foundation for Project Appraisal Document (PAD) preparation of the trade logistics project which is
under implementation since 2019.

UNECA, Addis Ababa over the next 20 years."
Proposal developed on replacement, maintenance scheduling, and so on. Based on the consulting contract, a
budget requirement is also proposed to the commission’s consideration. It is under implementation.

• Offered various graduate and under graduate courses of the College of Commerce and school of
Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and all students passed the exam.
• Supervised/Advised 25 graduate students’ and examined over 50 theses in the area of logistics and
transport; humanitarian logistics, health, project management, Quality management and all have
successfully defended their theses and some publications are made out of them.
• Participated in strategy development for Industry Development (construction input materials) for the
Ethiopian Ministry of Industry along with other experts. The strategy was validated and approved for
implementation.
• Coordinated An ILO/UNIDO-funded project to establish an industrial zone for the relocation of
edible oil processors, as well as the establishment of common use facilities and infrastructure.
Accordingly, proposal developed, secured funding, oversaw the entire project implementation, &
finance, managed a diverse team of experts, and reported to the funder.

• Reviewed Wash Program Projects and recommended the applicability of the technology Review at
Athlete Kenenisa TVET College, Assela (By invitation) The projects is implemented.

• Served as Associate Dean, Research & Publication Office (ASTU/AU): Managed and coordinated
activities of the Office mainly research projects including planning and implementation of the projects,
monitoring and evaluation; training, publications, fund raising, M&E, reporting.
• Chaired/Member of various committees: Strategic Plan Committee; Chairperson, Market
Research; Member of the HRM; Reform Task Force, Finance, Admin and purchasing. Accordingly,
overall goals of the University were set for business & plan was developed and implemented.
