TEXT ABOUT VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering is a good thing that some people do to help

others in need of care. Some of the actions that are
usually done are donating clothes, food, materials that are
no longer useful, blood ...
There are several institutions that welcome children and
accept donations, so that these children are not lacking in
care.
Whenever I can, I donate some clothes and sneakers that no
longer serve me, food and school materials that I don't
need anymore. Most of the time, I volunteer at the church
together with the company “Cáritas”, because I know that if
I donate to the church and this company, my donations go
directly to needy families.
Volunteering is a good thing because we help people in
need, and in my opinion, everyone who has the possibility
to donate something, should donate, because in addition to
doing a good deed, they are saving lives.
I am totally in favor of volunteering, because we
contribute to social well-being and to a more just and
supportive world.
Some people who practice voluntary work, do it as a
profession, having greater commitments and more permanent
actions.
Volunteering has advantages such as contributing to the
well-being of people, and disadvantages such as, for
example, people do volunteering and receive nothing in
return, that is, they do not make a profit.
