LAC TITLE: School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) entitled “EmpowerED: School Learning Action Cell for
Literacy Skills”
BASELINE DATA SLAC can gain valuable insights into the current state of literacy within the school
community and develop targeted strategies for improvement.
OBJECTIVES 1. Develop and implement targeted interventions to address identified literacy
needs.
2. Establish mechanisms for monitoring the progress of students participating in
literacy interventions and regularly assessing the effectiveness of implemented
strategies
3. Work to assess and diagnose the literacy needs of students across different grade
levels.
