One big question that remains unanswered is "Should children be exposed to technology at

such a young age (specifically under 5 years old)?" The digital technology era, especially the
current 4.0 technology revolution, is an opportunity for children to easily access high-tech
devices. However, health experts believe that early exposure to technology hides many
dangers, easily causing unnecessary harm to children. Here are some of the effects of using
technology at such a young age.

Firstly, it will affect the ability to develop language. Too much reliance on technology
devices will prevent children from spending time talking and interacting with people around
them. This leads to the fact that the baby is afraid to communicate, lacks confidence, has poor
reflexes, difficulty in solving common communication situations.

Secondly, influences the relationship between parents and children. During children’growing
time, the parent's voice and play together will help build cognition in the child's brain,
helping children learn to bond emotionally with others, especially those they regularly
interact with. However, for children who are constantly exposed to smartphone or tablet
screens, their perception will be different.

Finally, increased risk of childhood obesity. The rate of obese children is increasing,
especially in big cities. One of the causes of this health condition is that children play video
games too "level", causing them to often sit in one place, very sedentary. Moreover, playing
games excites children, and makes them eat and drink foods high in sugar that are not
supervised by adults.

Besides, there are many opinions that many technology devices on the market with useful and
interesting learning applications to help children absorb lessons easily and quickly. However
face-to-face learning with a teacher is better for children than for children learning with
machines that help teachers better grasp and understand students' abilities. This allows
teachers to better assess students' strengths and weaknesses, clarify their role as instructors,
and guide students in the learning process.

In conclusion, Children need to be in contact with the natural environment and people around
them to grow, so electronic devices cannot replace parents in teaching children how to
communicate, and life skills ... Parents should organize activities that balance children's
learning, activities and play so that they are in the best interests of their children's health.
