THEMATIC AREAS

 Human Rights advocacy.

On the 10th of December 1948, the UN General Assembly adopted the

Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Its adoption led to the
recognition of human rights as the foundation for freedom, justice and
peace for every individual. Human rights mark everyone as free and
equal, irrespective of age, gender, caste, creed, religion and nationality.
Human rights safeguard the marginalized from discrimination and
guarantee that their most basic needs are protected. We as organization
are working strategically to promote and secure the rights of every
national citizen, especially the gender/sexual minorities, persons with
disabilities and communities faced with the disadvantage of industrial and
other environmental pollution through targeted and intensified advocacy
and awareness campaigns to community stakeholders, State actors,
Nigeria security outfits and other constituted authorities aimed at
representing, defending and inclusion of the affected population in
legislative instruments and other policies of government as equal and
strategic priorities of the Nigeria society. Policy Advocacy is aimed at
engaging policy makers, legislators, law enforcement and other bodies
towards the repeal of discriminatory and repressive laws. Media
advocacy is aimed at enhancing the knowledge of the media on issues of
justice with the aim of enhancing qualitative and objective reportage on
issues of all kinds of injustices

• QUALITY LEADERSHIP AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT:

Economic empowerment lies at the heart of our efforts to eradicate

extreme hunger and build self-reliance within communities. We recognize
the importance of engaging youths and persons with disabilities in skill
acquisition and empowerment programs to equip them with the tools
necessary for economic independence. By reducing stigma in public
companies and institutions, we create pathways for the meaningful
inclusion of marginalized groups in economic activities. Our initiatives not
only address unemployment among youths but also foster an environment
where individuals can thrive and contribute positively to society. Through
quality leadership programs, we aim to cultivate a new generation of
leaders who are committed to social justice and economic equality, driving
sustainable development and positive change within their communities.

• HIV AND SEXUAL HEALTH

3|Page
In Nigeria, access to information, services, and commodities that promote
safer sex and mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS remains a challenge,
particularly for key populations such as gender/sexual minorities, persons
with disabilities, and drug users. Our organization is dedicated to addressing
these challenges through comprehensive sexual health and HIV programs.
Utilizing a peer-based approach, we provide a safe space for individuals to
access essential services and participate in behavioral change and risk
reduction workshops. Additionally, our support group networks for persons
living with HIV/AIDS offer vital emotional and practical support, in line with
national implementation guidelines. By prioritizing sexual health education
and access to resources, we aim to reduce the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and
empower individuals to make informed.

MENTAL HEALTH AND DRUG REHABILITATION PROGRAM:

Excessive drug use and abuse represent significant challenges within Nigerian
society, beyond its physical and psychological toll it contributes to various
social and civil injustices, including intimate partner violence juvenile
delinquency and societal disintegration. Our organization recognizes the
urgent need to address these issues through multi faceted approach that
combines prevention, interventions andrehabilitation that focus on mental
health and drug rehabilitation. Through research and education initiatives, we
understand the root causes of drug abuse and it's impact on individual and
communities and in turn we raise awareness about the adverse effects of drug
abuse and provide individuals with the necessary tools for self-rehabilitation.
Our rehabilitation programs offer holistic support, including counseling,
therapy, and vocational training, to help individuals overcome addiction and
rebuild their lives. By equipping youths with coping mechanisms and support
networks, we aim to break the cycle of addiction and reduce the prevalence of
substance abuse-related crimes. Additionally, our programs promote mental
well-being and resilience, fostering healthier communities where individuals
can thrive and contribute positively to society and reach their potentials
