ABOUT THE FDP
The FDP aims at strengthening and expanding the faculty members
expertise in the field of AI so that they could provide eloquent support
to their students. The session covers the various modules of AI with
hands-on training which enables participants to understand
fundamentals of AI & its applications, making it an essential skill in the
AI domain.
OBJECTIVES OF THE FDP
• Gain a historical perspective of AI and its foundations
• Become familiar with basic principles of AI toward problem
solving
• Get to know approaches of inference, perception, knowledge
representation and learning
OUTCOMES OF THE FDP
• Apply knowledge of agent architecture, searching and reasoning
techniques for different applications
• Develop knowledge base sentences using propositional logic and
first order logic
• Describe the concepts of quantifying uncertainty
• Use the concepts of Expert Systems to build applications
