Assessment- is a process of gathering and organizing information from multiple sources about
the student.
 Assessment for learning- an approach to teaching and learning that creates feedback
which is then used to improve students' performance.
 Assessment of learning- done after instruction. This is usually referred to as a summative
assessment.
 Assessment as learning- involved student monitoring and gathering information about
their own learning
