We recently had to deal with a cockroach infestation in our
lunchroom, which was a serious problem. Even though the
building has been quickly sanitized to address this problem, we
still need to be active to stop any re-infestation.
Unfortunately, we discovered a lapse in cleanliness practices in
the lunchroom, which most likely contributed to the problem. Food
waste left out, spills not cleaned up quickly, and a general lack of
tidiness can attract pests such as cockroaches.
I kindly remind everyone to clean up after themselves immediately
after using the lunchroom. This includes disposing of food waste
properly, wiping down tables and countertops, and promptly
reporting any spills or messes to the cleaning staff. Your
cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
