Note:
a). Revise all syllabus of April & May thoroughly for 1st Term Exams.
b). Give full attention on reading, spelling & handwriting. Speaking skills will be included in Oral Exam.
c). 1st term notebooks will be checked in Oral Exam days and 5 marks for each subject will be included
in 1st Term Exams.
d). 5 marks for each subject of summer vacation work will be included in 1st Term Exams.
Do summer vacation work on separate note book of all subjects.
e). Please submit complete summer vacation homework in school on

English:
1. Reading:(a) Read lessons (1-4) with correct pronunciation, fluency and understanding. (three times).
Listen English news daily once and write news of the week every Sunday.
2. Writing: Write Urdu translation, lesson 1(complete). Write any one English poem of any poet with
marker.
3. Dictionary: Write 10 difficult words from each lesson (1-4). Write the transcription and grammar of
these words from dictionary. Also learn spelling.
4. Creative Writing: 1:Write 10 sentences about each topic. 1. Grand Parents 2. My sweet home
3. My birthday cake 4. Natural scene 5. Quaid's Birthcity
2:Write your observation about friends/relative home visit (any two) during summer vacation
(paragraph of 15 sentences each)
5. Tense: Write 5 sentences each (assertive, negative and interrogative) sentences of Present, Past, Future
(indefinite only) for Urdu to English translation from any grammar.
6. Speaking: Prepare a speech of 3 minutes about any topic: Eid-ul-Azha/ Pakistan Army, a sign of bravery.
Maths: Note: Learn all definitions and summary points. Practice all solved examples and exercises of 1st
term syllabus. Ex. No and Q. No must mention before starting work.

Reading: Read ch 1 with correct pronunciation, understanding and fluency(three times)Watch
documentaries about Indus, Chinese, Egypt and Mesopotamian peoples to understand their civilization.
Knowledge: Learn all informations, terms and events related to Ch.1 and learn spellings.
Writing: Write and define 40 words/terms from Ch. 1. Make 20 MCQ's and 15 Short Questions with
answers from Ch. 1 (except exercise)
Skill: 1.Draw world map to identify the location of ancient civilization.
2. Draw map of Pakistan to show Indus civilization.
Geography :
Reading: Read Ch. 1,2 with correct pronunciation, understanding and fluency(three times).Watch
Pakistan's Northern areas documentary to aware about hilly areas life style.
Knowledge: Learn all informations, concepts, terms and exercises studies in first term and learn spellings.
Writing: Write and define 40 terms from Ch 1,2. Make 20 MCQs from Ch.1 (except exercise)
Map Making: 1. Draw map of world to identify the location of tectonic plates. 2. Make map of Pakistan to
identify the location of fault lines. 3. Make rock cycle. 4. Make a flowchart of earth structure. 5. You
can use google map to search any location. If yes, than write in which location you used it during summer
vacation and how it helped you.
