E-SPORTS MECHANICS

GENERAL MECHANICS
• The competition will be participated by the 5 groups for foundation.
o Senior High School
o Computer Department (CPE+IT+CS)
o Hospitality Management
o Business Administration + IHC
o Criminology
• Each group can register a team for each esports. The number of teams will vary depending
on the esports that will be participated.
o 3 teams for Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB)
o 3 teams for Call of Duty Mobile (CoDM)
o 1 team for Tekken 7
o 1 team for Valorant
o 1 team for Dota 1
• Each player should be currently enrolled at St. Nicolas College of Business and Technology
on the time of the competition.
• The competition is open for all gender.
• Player can only join one team.
• Each team must submit a team name (required) and logo in png format (optional)
• Team names/player names that are found to be offensive/vulgar will not be tolerated and a
request of name change is allowed before the competition.
• Double elimination will be used for each esports as competition structure
• Some of the esports, if not all, will be stream live through FB pages.
• The champion for each esports will represent the institution for the invitational game on
March 21, 2024. (To be finalized)

MECHANICS PER GAME

Mobile Legends Bang Bang / Call of Duty Mobile

• A team must consist of the following members:


o 5 main players (required)
o 1-2 reserved players (optional)
o 1 coach/player-coach (optional)
• Once nominated/registered regular/reserved players cannot be replaced throughout the
event.
• The competition is an Online Tournament.
• Players will be advised of schedule and timing of matches thru their registered
email/messenger account.
• Only the esports committee can alter schedule and timing of matches.
• Cheating doesn’t need to be successful to qualify as a violation. Conspiring to cheat is
already a violation and will lead to an automatic disqualification for all conspirators.
Examples of cheating includes, but are not limited to:
o Ghosting
o Account Sharing
o Piloting
• Each game will be played in a best-of-three series and a coin toss will be made. The winner
of the coin toss will choose which side they play on the first game of the best-of-three
series. The other team will choose sides on the second game.
• Tournament Mode will be used for the competition (MLBB).
• Some matches will be played simultaneously.
• The elimination round will be scheduled before the foundation week.

NOTE: All participants will be advised of other rules or technical aspects prior to start of
competition.

Tekken 7

• A team must consist of the following members:


o 3 main players (required)
o 1-2 reserved players (optional)
o 1 coach/player-coach (optional)
• Once nominated/registered regular/reserved players cannot be replaced throughout the
event.
• The event is a 3 vs 3 team match.
• The competition is an offline Tournament.
• Players will be advised of schedule and timing of matches thru their registered
email/messenger account.
• Only the esports committee can alter schedule and timing of matches.
• Each game will be played in a best-of-three series and a coin toss will be made. The winner
of the coin toss will choose which side they play on the first game of the best-of-three
series. The other team will choose sides on the second game.

Valorant / Dota 1
• A team must consist of the following members:
o 5 main players (required)
o 1-2 reserved players (optional)
o 1 coach/player-coach (optional)
• Once nominated/registered regular/reserved players cannot be replaced throughout the
event.
• The competition is an Online Face-to-Face for Valorant and Offline Face-to-Face for Dota 1
Tournament.
• Players will be advised of schedule and timing of matches thru their registered
email/messenger account.
• Only the esports committee can alter schedule and timing of matches.
• Cheating doesn’t need to be successful to qualify as a violation. Conspiring to cheat is

• Winning team will received a plaque and each member will receive a certificate
• The group of the winning team will receive five gold points

Call of Duty Mobile (CoDM)


• Winning team will received a plaque and each member will receive a certificate
• The group of the winning team will receive five gold points

Tekken 7
• Winning team will received a plaque and each member will receive a certificate
• The group of the winning team will receive three gold points

Valorant
• Winning team will received a plaque and each member will receive a certificate
• The group of the winning team will receive five gold points

Dota 1
• Winning team will received a plaque and each member will receive a certificate
• The group of the winning team will receive five gold points
