PROJECT AUTO-EXTENSION POLICY

● Number of Extensions Available:


The DSBA Online program allows a maximum of three, one-week extensions for the
projects to the learners for medical issues and other commitments.

● When can you Opt for an Extension?


Extensions can be opted only when you apply for them through the Olympus portal
before 11:58 PM on the project submission deadline. No exceptions will be made.

● Consequences of failing to submit the project in case you have opted for an Extension:
If you have opted for an extension but fail to submit the required file before the new
specified deadline, one of the three allotted extensions will still be exhausted. It is
imperative to carefully consider the automatic extension policy, as once the extension is
applied for, it cannot be retrieved.

deadline:
If you have opted for an extension but submitted the project before the original

● Procedure for Extension Requests:


All extension requests must be made through the Olympus portal. Requests
communicated directly to a Program Manager via call/message/email will not be
accommodated. Only extensions applied via the Olympus portal will be considered.

How to raise the Auto-extension request?

1. You are requested to open the program support page by clicking on the question mark icon
inside the circle and click on Ask a question.

2. You will have to choose the category Project for raising an extension request.

3. You will have to select the option- I want to extend my submission deadline and choose the
respective course of the assessment.

4. You will get option to choose the project that course and add the reason for requesting an extension.

★ In the event of encountering a technical error on the project submission date:

We kindly request that you submit your files well before the deadline, particularly if attempting
to do so within the final minutes. In case you encounter any technical issues, please ensure to
capture a screenshot of the error displaying a proper timestamp on your laptop screen. Please
note that images lacking a timestamp will not be considered for further review.

Additionally, the extension window will now remain open for all seven days, providing ample
opportunity for file submission in the prescribed format directly through the portal. It is strongly
advised not to wait until the last minute to submit your files.

★ Regarding any network issues or technical errors on T7:

Please be aware that no files will be accepted if encountered issues arise while attempting to
submit them on T7. As the portal has been opened for a seven-day window, there is ample time
to address and resolve any submission difficulties.
