Whole text character question

 Short introduction and conclusion if you have time

 Choose 3 themes which this character links to e.g. young v old, social responsibility,
power etc.
 Try to include 2x instances/events where the character shows each theme
Top Tips:

 You are marked for AO4 which means you need to use ambitious vocabulary (use the
vocabulary bank we did for homework) and spelling, punctuation and grammar is
important.
 You need to include a range of evidence to prove your points
 Make sure your points link with your analysis
 You need to analyse both language and structure and their effect on the reader
 Contextualise your evidence so when you introduce a quote, make sure you are
stating what part of the play it is e.g. beginning/middle/end/Act 1 etc and what is
going on, who they are talking to. For example, when we are first introduced to
Gerald in the opening stage directions, Gerald is described as ‘the easy well-bred
young man-about-town’.
 Consistently refer back to the question
