DEFINITION
Competition in biology refers to the interaction
between two or more organisms that compete for
the same resources, such as food, water, space,
mates, etc, that tipe of competition is called This
competition can be intraspecific, between
individuals of the same species, or interspecific,
between individuals of different species.

EXAMPLE
Males of some territorial species, such as dogs,
wolves, or bears, mark their territory with their urine
and so that if another male enters it, he will know that
he is at risk of being attacked.

In plants they comete for being taller, light or to the groots go


deeper into the ground to find nutrients. This tipe of competition
can be intra and interspecific.
