Berlin Scholarship

Description

The Berlin Scholarship is for BA applicants who have demonstrated a sustained interest in German
language and culture by taking German language courses in high school or college. Strong candidates
may also have participated in German honor society or taken a leadership role in their school’s German
club.

Award amount: Need-based award, renewable over four years

Criteria

Applicants for the Berlin Scholarship must:

- Apply for BA admission to Bard College Berlin

- Have taken German courses in high school or at university

- Demonstrate financial need

The tuition waiver is renewable for up to 4 years contingent on the recipient’s maintenance of a B
average or better.

How to apply

1. Complete an application for admission to the BA program

2. Download and complete Financial Statement Form

Visit Financial Aid to download the form and for details on how to complete the
application

3. Upload the completed Financial Statement Form along with supporting documentation to
your applicant portal
