Joining Instructions for WEBINAR


Thank you for deciding to train at PHILCAMSAT. The information below should
give you some background informations about the course and enable you to
prepare.

To join the webinar course programme which your Company has arranged for
you, you will be needing the following:

 Internet-enabled desktop computer with head phone and mic, or a Laptop,


or a Smart Phone or a Smart Tablet with an installed Microsoft Teams
Application (Apps).
 Internet connection of 10 mbps or higher with 6GB data, but it will work
within the range of mobile data plan.
 Unimpeded on-line presence for the entire period of the webinar
facilitation (beyond 15 minutes disconnection from webinar is
automatically considered “Dropped”)
 a valid and active e-mail address
 Paper and pen

Administration Process

1. Trainee/s who will attend the WEBINAR course, shall receive an e-mail
from Philcamsat Registration Department prior to the webinar course
schedule, and webinar trainees will be ask to fill-up the e-Registration
Form.
2. Completed e-Registration Form shall be send back to Philcamsat
Registration on the same day no later than 3 pm.
3. Upon receipt of your accomplished e-Registration Form, Registration
shall inform you to log-in to your account in Microsoft Teams Apps on
the day of your scheduled orientation. Your designated facilitator/
registration personnel will contact you 15 minutes before the
Orientation Schedule to verify your connectivity, facilitation of the
house rules and cascading of exercise sheets.

Conduct of Training

1. Philcamsat webinar course programme shall be conducted based on the


timetable discussed during orientation.
2. Resumption of the webinar training shall begin after the scheduled lunch
breaks, and shall end when all learning modules have been absolutely
fulfilled.
3. Webinar trainees shall log-in on their Microsoft Teams Apps no later than
15 minutes before their scheduled training.
4. The PHILCAMSAT Interactive eLearning course programme shall be
conducted at the comforts of your home, hence, make sure that you are in
an area where there is continuous internet connectivity and that you are
comfortably seated where you could actively hear the facilitator and
interact, when needed.
5. 15 minutes after the scheduled training, Philcamsat’s assigned facilitator
shall conduct a roll call of attendees. In accordance to Philcamsat Quality
Procedure, any trainee who is found 15 minutes late in joining the webinar
training shall be considered a DROPPED, and shall be removed from the
Class List.
6. All e-exercises shall be answered and submitted to the facilitator as
prescribed.

Certification Process

1. Webinar trainees who has successfully completed all of the training


requirements and passed the assessment shall be issued Certificate of
Completion.
2. E-copy of the Certificate of Completion shall be forwarded to the Company
shouldering the cost of the training.
3. Following Philcamsat’s Quality Procedure, Certificate of Completion shall
be forwarded after 3 working days upon completion of the course.

Billing Process

1. Philcamsat’s Accounting Department shall issue an invoice to the


Company shouldering the cost of training for their seafarer/GMPs within
two (2) working days.

Cancellation

1. All cancellation of webinar training shall be subject to Philcamsat’s


cancellation policy.

Duration of Course Cancellation Period

All courses Two (2) working days before the training schedule 25% of the course fee
All courses One (1) working day before the first day of the training schedule. 50% of the course fee
All courses During the first day of the training schedule 100% of the course fee

2. PHILCAMSAT reserves the right to change course schedules or


cancel the course in which event trainees will be notified.

Feedback and Complaints


Any feedback from you is always welcome. If you have a complaint, it should first
be raised with the instructor running the course. If you are still not happy, please
