LeGoat James is Set to be traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Philadelphia 76ers

20-time all-star basketball player LeGoat James has officially been traded for the first time in his
23-year career. General managers of both teams seemed like it was time for a change of
scenery. LeGoat who is averaging a career-high in points and rebounds is now on the
move to the eastern seaboard.

James once tried to follow in the footsteps of the late great Kobe “Bean” Bryant. James
is now the leading scorer in the history of the National Basketball Association with a
jaw-dropping 39,868 and counting. While he chases Championship number 4, LeGoat is
going to have to do so in the red, white, and blue of the Philadelphia 76ers.

After winning championship number four while in Orlando with the Lakers, James was in many
different trade speculatory scenarios. While Philadelphia always loomed in the
background many front office personnel of the likes of Miami, Toronto, and New York
were all brought back when the trade went through.

As for this being the first time in James career being traded, there will be a grace period
for James to get acclimated to the East Coast. Moving and getting his family situated is
his main priority. He is keeping the fans in mind and will attend the first game in
Philadelphia versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although he will be there, he will not be an
active participant. After a physical and processing of paperwork, James should be up
and ready for action on the twenty-ninth against the new and improved Milwaukee
bucks.

“First off I would like to thank the man from above. Secondly, This is a period in time in which
there is a big transition for my family and myself. I want to thank the Los Angeles Lakers
players, staff, and fans. Those years will not be forgotten. Now, for the city of brotherly
love! I am beyond excited to join such a young and inspiring basketball team in hopes of
getting to play for a chance to achieve championship number 4. Can not wait to get to
work.”

As for the financials that come along with being traded, LeGoat still has three years remaining
on his five-year one hundred forty-three million dollar contract. This contract will not go
against the 76ers salary cap due to a load of contacts being sent back to the Lakers.
This leaves future trades and new free-agent signings this summer very open.

Finishing this season on a high note is very important to keep the 76ers in title contention. Now
having one of the greatest basketball players in the world in Philly would mean the world
to the fans who have been in a championship drought for decades. His strength, skill,
and basketball IQ are everything Philadelphia needs to hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy on
broad street nce again.
