PROJECT PROPOSAL

TITLE: AHMS Purple Photo Booth

TARGET DATE: March 21, 2024

TARGET VENUE: FLR, Green House

PROPONENT: Association of Hospitality Management Students

RATIONALE:

In support to the 2024 Women’s Month Celebration, the Association of Hospitality

Management Students (AHMS) provide a platform to celebrate the achievements and
contributions of women in various fields such as science, politics, literature, and arts with
“AHMS Purple Photo Booth” this can also serve as a powerful reminder of the ongoing
struggle for gender equality and the importance of collective action in creating a more just
and equitable society. Through education, and empowerment, the organization can make a
meaningful contribution to this cause.

DESCRIPTION:

The AHMS officers together with the appointed representatives will set up a photo
booth with a theme that shows the importance of women and their contribution to our
society. This photo booth is free for all Hospitality Management students and they can take
solo or group photo with free photo strips.

OBJECTIVES:
This activity aims to:
1. Celebrate and acknowledge the contributions and achievements of women.
2. Raise awareness about the ongoing struggles for gender equality.
3. Create a more inclusive and equitable society for all genders.

IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES:
1. Encourage participation from all BSHM students.
2. This photo booth is free for all BSHM students.
3. Encourage participants to provide feedback and suggestions for future events
through surveys or follow-up discussions.
