Introductión

The development of this activity aims to reinforce knowledge of exponential and

logarithmic functions, interpret graphs of equations, and provide solutions to the equations

proposed in. compound and one-to-one functions.

Explanation

To find the inverse and check the function we will apply as a first step replacing f(x)
with y, exchanging the variables y with x

𝟐𝒙+𝟑
So, 𝒚 = 𝒙+𝟐

𝟐𝒚 + 𝟑
𝒙=
𝒚+𝟐

Then we solve for, y

𝟐𝒙 + 𝟑
𝒙= 𝒙(𝒚 + 𝟐)
𝒙+𝟐

= 𝟐𝒚 + 𝟑𝒙𝒚 + 𝟐𝒙

= 𝟐𝒚 + 𝟑𝟐𝒙 − 𝟑

= 𝟐𝒚 − 𝒙𝒚𝟐𝒙 − 𝟑

𝟐𝒙 − 𝟑
= 𝒚(𝟐 − 𝒙)

=𝒚
