Resiliency Score 19/30

Based on the hazard profile of the community, our overall assessment for this community is that it is
not adequately prepared for disasters. The resiliency score of 19 out of 30 indicates that the disaster
preparedness of the community is not well developed, and it cannot guarantee the safety and recovery
of populace once a disaster strikes. The community lacks sturdy infrastructure, warning systems, and
resources. Another factor that contributes to the unpreparedness of the community is the
impoverishment of the residents which hinders them to acquire items that needed for emergencies. On
the other hand, the community members and residents have easy access to trained responders who will
provide assistance in times of disasters. Their partnership with other organizations helps families and
individuals prepare for probable hazard events. This community can still improve by establishing better
warning systems, and constructing sturdier buildings and infrastructures.
