DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

 Prepare and Submit NDT documents.

 Specifying and running of procedure qualification tests.
 Control of all NDT activities.
 Data collection and reporting.
 Equipment and Manpower requirements
 Coordinate with the NDT Contractor and Third Party Inspector
 Review and endorse NDT reports such as RT / MT / PT / UT / PMI / PAUT
 Coordinate with the discipline QC inspectors to rectify any repair welds
 Monitor NDT Time sheets from NDT Contractor
 Monitor and evaluate the performance of the NDT Contractor
 Ensure compliance with the local regulatory requirement for NDT Works
 Knowledge in International Codes & Standards to interpret the NDT reports
 UT Flaw Detection check on raw materials of pressure vessel process piping and
Weld Joints.
 UT Lamination, check on raw materials of pressure vessel and process piping.
 Finding the surface defects in weld joints and parent metal areas with PT, MPT.
 NDT Inspection (RT, MT, PT & UT) methods on welded parts, Boiler drums as
per Customer Quality Plan.
 Interpretation of Ultrasonic Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, And Magnetic
Particle Testing.
 Prepared reports like UT, RT, MT, and PT.
 Familiar with Radiographic Source X-ray & Gamma ray, film Interpretation.
 Familiar with codes and standards of ASME Sec. IX for welding and brazing
