Project Overview:
Islamic Aid, a renowned international charity, is partnering with the University of Child Health
Sciences (UCHS) and the Children's Hospital Lahore to establish a state-of-the-art university
campus dedicated to training the next generation of pediatric healthcare professionals in
Pakistan. This project involves the development of a new 85,000 square foot facility and aims to
address the critical shortage of qualified pediatric professionals in the country.
● Provide comprehensive financial management and administrative support for the University
Campus Development Project.
● Work collaboratively with the Project Director to develop and maintain a detailed project
budget, ensuring alignment with donor funding and Islamic Aid's financial regulations.
● Utilize QuickBooks Online accounting software to record all project-related financial
transactions, including income, expenditures, payroll, and reimbursements.
● Implement and maintain a robust system for internal controls to safeguard project funds and
ensure financial compliance.
● Prepare timely and accurate financial reports (e.g., budget vs. actuals reports, cash flow
statements) for the Project Director and Islamic Aid leadership.
● Manage project-related procurement processes, ensuring adherence to Islamic Aid's
procurement policies and best value for money principles.
● Oversee administrative functions, including travel arrangements, visa applications, and
logistics for project personnel.
● Manage and maintain all project documentation electronically within Islamic Aid's document
management system.
● Liaise with relevant government authorities regarding permits, licenses, and tax requirements
for the project.
● Assist the Project Director in managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
● Identify and implement opportunities to streamline administrative processes and leverage
new technologies for greater efficiency.
● Proactively address any financial or administrative challenges that may arise during the
project lifecycle.
● Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including
donors, contractors, and government officials.
