BEV (Bhawikarsu English Vaganza) is a
competition that focuses on English
language development held by BEC
(Bhawikarsu English Club). BEV consists
of English Olympiad, Speech Contest,
and Storytelling competitions. BEV 2024
comes with the theme.

01 The participant of BEV 2024 is an active Junior
High Schooler in East Java.

Participants of BEV 2024 must be officially registered

02 participants who have completed all administrative

requirements in the registration process for BEV 2024.

The English Olympiad competition branch was followed by a

03 team consisting of two SMP/MTs students on the different

or same level with the condition that they came from the
same school.

04 Registered participants may not be replaced.

RO PRELIMINARY
1. The first round will be conducted on March 14,
2024.
2. Each team will be allocated a total of 60 minutes to
answer 50 questions on the designated platform
provided by the committee.
3. The question types focused on the first round
including grammar, reading, and listening.
4. The top 12 teams with the highest scores are eligible
to proceed to the second round in the English
Olympiad competition.
5. Teams qualified for the second round will be
announced on March 17, 2024.

Participants must prepare everything related to the
preliminary round of the English Olympiad.

Participants are required to be present on time, and

the committee will not grant any time extensions.

Participants must ensure that their internet and

devices are functioning properly.

The time allotted for solving the questions is 60 minutes

 1. The third round will be held on March 24, 2024 (following the

completion of the second round).
2. Four teams will be given the same case but at different times
according to the predetermined order.
3. The given case is in the form of a text, with a presentation

ROUND duration of 5 minutes without repetition.

4. Participants are required to find a solution by filling in a
worksheet in the form of a PowerPoint template provided by the
organizers beforehand. The worksheet filling is done within 15
minutes.
5. Participants will present their solutions in front of the jury for 10
minutes.
6. After the presentation, there will be a question and answer
session by the jury regarding the given solution, with a maximum

UND 3 duration of 15 minutes.

RO 7. There are a total of 3 teams that will be designated as winners
based on the scores from the BEV 2024 jury.
8. Winners of the English Olympiad competition will be
announced on March 24, 2024, simultaneously with the
awarding ceremony for all BEV 2024 competition branches.
