Basic Networking Commands Lab:

1)ipconfig-to display the information about your network configuration .

2)ipconfig /all-Displays the full TCP/IP configuration for all adapters. Adapters can represent
physical interfaces, such as installed network adapters, or logical interfaces, such as dial-up
connections.

3)hostname-displays the system name


4)arp -a-The arp cache is a table that stores the mapping of ip address to their corresponding mac
address

5)route print- Route is a Windows command that displays and updates the network routing table.
These activities will show you how to use the route command to display the local routing table.

8)netstat- The netstat command generates displays that show network status and protocol
statistics. You can display the status of TCP and UDP endpoints in table format, routing
table information, and interface information.
