JOB SUMMARY
HarvestPlus Solutions India (HPS India), registered as Nutritious Agrifuture India Private Limited in India,
operates as a network entity for advancing the commercialization efforts of HarvestPlus Solutions (HPS).

mission to expedite the scaling of groundbreaking innovations from HarvestPlus and the CGIAR. It
engages through network entities across Asia and Africa to address the challenges of food and nutrition
security and create a meaningful impact on the well-being of communities worldwide, including the
most vulnerable.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a dynamic individual to join HarvestPlus Solutions India as an Advisory Lead. Responsibilities
include actively pursuing business opportunities in Agri, Food, Nutrition and Climate advisory space s,
fostering client relationships, and monitoring program delivery. Additionally, lead the design and
implementation of assessment frameworks, coordinate program activities, and ensure data-driven
decision-making. Ideal candidates possess strong business acumen, business advisory expertise, and a
commitment to program effectiveness and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
• Actively respond to opportunities in Agri, Food, Nutrition and Climate domain crafting proposals for
impact assessments, feasibility studies and program evaluations.
• Collaborate across teams to develop competitive proposals and negotiate consulting contracts.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients in private sector, government agencies, and NGOs to
identify new business leads.
• Utilize networking opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and identify potential
collaborations.
• Represent HPS at conferences and events to showcase our expertise in business advisory impact
assessment in agriculture and food space .
• Stay updated on emerging trends to enhance program effectiveness.

Programme Assessment
• Lead the design and execution of impact assessments and evaluations; oversee the scope of work,
deliverables and overall quality of work of other external led operational research and studies.
• Lead data analysis and preparation of comprehensive reports and dashboards to inform decision-
making and program improvement.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building support to project teams and partners on
assessment related matters.
• Organize technical meetings to ensure regular programme planning across consortium partners,
review progress, and document lessons/address challenges encountered.
• Document processes and achievements to ensure best practices are captured and disseminated; this
will contribute to continual reevaluation of programme activities and information, with resulting
activity adjustments in keeping with new insights.
• Ensure programme data and analysis is used for learning by facilitating progress review and lesson
learning reflection platforms with programme partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in management, economics, agricultural economics, statistics or Related Field from
a reputable management institute plus relevant work experience of a minimum of 10 years.
• Experience in Management Consulting, Agri Business Advisory, Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Strong conceptual knowledge about theories of change (TOC), logic model, food and nutrition
security indicators, impact assessment plan, data quality assurance, data utilization, and gender
integration.
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in developing and operationalizing routine monitoring
system designed to track both output and outcome indicators.
• Strong quantitative background and demonstrated expertise in designing annual monitoring surveys
including probabilistic sampling strategy and estimating sample size, developing appropriate
weights, and analyze quantitative data.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing qualitative studies, in-depth knowledge about qualitative
sampling, and experienced in using interview and interactive tools to generate qualitative
information and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Essential personal qualities of integrity, responsiveness, and decisiveness.
