Objective:
The objective of this midterm exam is to showcase your understanding and mastery of Zumba
exercises learned during the course. This performance will assess your ability to execute various Zumba
moves with energy, rhythm, and precision.

Instructions:
1. Warm-Up:
- Begin with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for the routine.
- Incorporate light cardio movements such as marching, jogging in place, and arm circles.

2. Song Selection:
- Choose a lively Zumba song that matches your energy level and style.
- Ensure the song has a clear rhythm and beat to facilitate smooth movements.

3. Choreography:
- Develop a choreographed routine that includes a variety of Zumba moves learned in class.
- Aim for a balanced mix of footwork, arm movements, and body isolations.

4. Execution:
- Perform each move with enthusiasm, confidence, and precision.
- Focus on maintaining proper form and alignment throughout the routine.
- Pay attention to rhythm and timing, syncing your movements with the music.

5. Energy and Expression:


- Infuse your performance with energy, passion, and expression.
- Engage your facial expressions and body language to convey the mood of the music.
- Encourage audience engagement by smiling, making eye contact, and interacting with spectators if
appropriate.

6. Cool Down:
- Conclude your performance with a cool-down segment to lower your heart rate and stretch your
muscles.
- Include static stretches targeting major muscle groups used during the routine.

7. Evaluation Criteria:
- Your performance will be assessed based on technique, creativity, musicality, energy, and overall
presentation.
- Each Zumba move should be executed with clarity and precision.
- Creativity in choreography and transitions will be rewarded.
- Musicality involves syncing your movements with the rhythm and interpreting the music through your
dance.
- Energy and expression should be consistent throughout the performance, engaging the audience and
demonstrating your enjoyment of the dance.

8. Attire:
- Wear comfortable and appropriate attire for movement, such as athletic wear and supportive footwear.
- Consider incorporating colorful or themed clothing to enhance the visual appeal of your performance.
