SMOKING POLICY

CIVIL ELEMENT maintains a smoke- and tobacco-free office. No smoking or other use of tobacco products
(including, but not limited to, cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff, or chewing tobacco) is permitted in any part of the
building.

 Employees may smoke outside in designated areas during breaks.

 When smoking or otherwise using tobacco or similar products outside.
 Do not leave cigarette butts or other traces of litter or tobacco use on ground or anywhere else. Make
use of provided sand buckets.
 No smoking in offices is allowed.
 Smoke only in designated areas.
 Ensure that non-smokers aren’t affected by your cigarette smoke.
 Ensure that all cigarette buds are smothered and thrown into sand buckets.

The co-operation of employees at all levels acting, as a committed team in carrying out this policy will ensure
that theses objective is achieved.

This policy shall be revised relevant to changes in construction activities, legislation and company procedures
and/ or standards annually.
