Annexure IV

APPLICATION FOR AVAILING TRADE SERVICES

This application shall be read in reference to TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR 'ENet' - Corporate
Internet Banking Services and be read as Annexure and relates to Trade Services.

This Application shall constitute an integral and operative part of the Terms and Conditions for E-NET-
Corporate Internet Banking Services duly accepted by the Customer for availing Enet Services and
the same shall be read, taken and construed as an essential part of terms and conditions between the
Customer and HDFC bank for availing the Corporate Internet Banking Services.

The Customer is desirous of availing trade services from HDFC Bank and HDFC Bank has accepted to
provide Trade Services as follows:

Role of the Bank

1. HDFC Bank will issue Letter of Credit/Guarantee/make payments for import/ non-import obligations on
behalf of the Customer as per the request forwarded by the Customer.

2. All trade instructions received through Enet for Trade Services will be governed by the applicable
International Chamber of Commerce Publications and amendments thereto from time to time.

Role of the Customer

 For all data forwarded to HDFC Bank through any media, the Customer hereby undertakes to indemnify HDFC
Bank, against all types of losses due to factors including but not limited to data corruption, data tampering,
unauthorised replications or any other cause, whether of the same or a different nature, unavoidable or
beyond the control of HDFC Bank. HDFC Bank shall not be deemed to be in default so long as any such
cause or the effect thereof persists and during a reasonable period thereafter within any such obligations is
capable of being fulfilled, whether or not.

 Through Enet – Corporate Internet Banking, Customer authorises the bank to make foreign currency
remittances inclusing but not limited to import payments for bills under collection, import payments for bills
under letter of credit, direct payments, non import payments, and to recover any charges related to the
transaction. Customer's digital/ scanned signature will be used on the Form A1 and A2, and will be
considered a valid document, for submission to competent authority.

General
 The Customer agrees that at all times, HDFC Bank will not be responsible for any loss that occurs due to
misuse of the scanned signatures of the Authorised Signatories of the Customer save and except those caused
by HDFC Bank’s own negligence.

 The Customer also agrees that the aforesaid service will be provided in respect of all Letter of
Credits/Guarantees/Import payments and acceptances to its day-to-day business

 The Customer shall be required to submit all necessary documents as required in the form and manner as
may be required by HDFC Bank for availment of Trade Services.
