TWILIGHT ASTRONOMICAL SWITCH UNIT

1. GENERAL

16(10) Amp AC output switching rating, backlit display, lithium battery, one
channel digital twilight astronomical switch, designed for the Control of
Street Lighting.

The twilight switch shall be capable of operating with a three-phase 150A

contactor unit.

The digital twilight astronomical switch shall control lighting system

according to the times when the sun rises and sets.

Programming shall carried out by defining the longitude and latitude

parameters of the geographical area where the switch is mounted.

Declared voltage: 3-Phase 4-Wire System,

Neutral Solidly Earthed.
Phase To Phase Voltage 415 Volt
Phase To Neutral Voltage 240 Volt
Voltage regulation: ±6 %
Frequency: 50 Hertz

2.SCOPE OF WORK

The works shall comprise the design, manufacture, works testing,

supply and delivery to QAIA, The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan of the
following:

 Documents to be submitted as an integral part of the offer, and to be

evaluated with the tender:
1. Full technical details, drawings and catalogues.
2. Fully detailed reference list with contact details.
3. Complete test certificates to ensure that the above item comply
with the requirements of this specification.
4. ISO certificate and any other documents that may assist in the
evaluation.
 Identical non-returnable representative sample of the item above shall
be provided with the offer, to be thoroughly examined for technical compliance.
Failure of the sample or failure to provide samples may entitle JEPCO to
consider the offer non-responsive.
 All necessary accessories used with the twilight switch shall be quoted
separately along with the offer.
