Review of CD of “SAMA” L.17 / L.18


Second revision- Detail drawing

Dec 24th/25th,26th 2022


Background of rev iew

Compliance with Requirement of submission

Basically some pints improved from previous submission however few points
found not comply with our comments on previous submission:
• Not following Technical Tenant guide line .
• Not providing all detail drawing requested by our comments.

A-1:Furniture Lay out :

We noted that many Area’s ( as


example highlighted by Red mark on

revision.

• Its not clear where one side gypsum


wall to be used, however of this
intended to use at core wall side , its
not necessary gypsum board to reach to
slab as there is a lot of penetration ,
refer to our recommendation detail for
your reference – as example gypsum

proper detail,also note that each façade has

A-3:St air Case Detail:
For Opened Stairway between L.17 and 18 we noted that:

1.Stair protected by from 3side, but one side open , basically


stair connected to floor need to be isolated to prevent two
floors being connected during fire.
2.Fire consultant should verify this condition.

E-1:Fire Alarm Layout:

1. Rev.1 drawing updated for device


change from conventional Smoke
detector to Addressable, however
wiring loop still showing
conventional system “ End Loop”

this cable tray to be shifted as this


location very congested and no
enough space to install this cable
tray. Refer to Tenant guide line and
as built condition for this area.

M-1:HVAC Duct work Layout 17t h Floor Mast er Plan Rev.1

Base building ventilation exhaust duct with inlet (smoke exhaust duct with inlet in case of fire)
needs to be taken into consideration which most likely would clash with the proposed ducting
route. (common)

It is observed that (some branch) ducts are not controlled with VAVs. It is recommended that all
duct branch ducts have VAVs with connection to associated AHU control,for sufficient thermal
control and fan speed control.

It is recommended to have supply diffusers at perimeter side in order to maintain comfortable


thermal environment which would create less radiation from the glazing (or from blind).
