SUBJECT: Spare Part Entry For Peeling of the Card

Brief
New type of Stripper Unit has been registered as spare part to prevent the
back side of the card on the leading edge from peeling.
This part is not adopted on the production machines.

Application Tips
* When the Unit /Stripper FR-S is installed on the machine, it is necessary to connect
the Switch Killer on the Stack paper feed switch connector (Wireharness side).
* It is necessary to install the Pickup Roller Core and Rotation Stopper on the Pickup
Roller Shaft to prevent buckled feeding paper on the second paper feed area from
kicking back (return to the first paper feeding area).
Spare Part Supply
The modified parts are available as spare parts for field maintenance.
Switch Killer is packed with Unit/Stripper FR-S.
Component parts, No. 1 to 4, of Unit/ Stripper FR-S in the figure are same as Unit/ Stripper S
for GR models.

1. Insert the rotation stopper into the pickup roller

core.

2. Set the rotation stopper ass'y on the Scraper Ass'y.

Caution:
Set the rotation stopper ass'y in the correct
direction.
(The rotation stopper should be placed in inner side
as shown by the figure on the right.
Paper feeding cluch may be damaged if it is set
incorrectly.)

3. Set the Scraper Ass'y on the machine.

The arm of the rotation stopper is placed as shown
by the figure on the right.

4. Slide the rotation stopper ass'y all the way to the

right.
Set the arm of the rotation stopper in behide of Rotation

5. Slide the yellow Paper guide roller all the way to the
right.

Note:
The pickup roller shaft may not rotate
smoothly if the paper guide roller and the rotation Paper guide
stopper ass'y are touching against the Scraper roller
Ass'y too strongly.
