1. answer the questions based on the travelogue


2. give opinion on other places in malaysia that they know but is not very popular

ACTIVITIES

Set induction:
 Ss share famous places in Malaysia that they have been to (think-pair-share)
 Ask Ss what is the opposite of famous attraction (try to elicit the word the idiom ‘hidden gem’ :
something that isn’t well-known or popular, but has something special about it in terms of value/beauty

During
 T displays questions for Ss to read and write in their exercise book
 Ss highlight keywords from the questions – T explains that this is a key skill for listening assessment:
highlighting keywords to anticipate what to listen to
 T plays the travelogue twice, Ss answer the questions as they watch and listen to the video
