RESOLUTION NO. 002 s. 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MOVING UP PICTURE OF GRADE 10 STUDENTS

OF LAS PINAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ALMANZA
FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024

WHEREAS, the Moving Up picture serves as a significant milestone in the academic

journey of students, marking the culmination of their efforts and achievements;

WHEREAS, the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) recognizes the importance

of providing students with the opportunity to participate in the Moving Up picture;

WHEREAS, the selection of a professional photographer or service provider for the

Moving Up picture has undergone a transparent process through bidding, ensuring
fair competition and adherence to procurement regulations;

WHEREAS, the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) has determined the pricing
and package options for the Moving Up picture as follows:

SET A – P 300.00: with the inclusion of two shots of the picture without
Frame, one piece of 8X10 in portrait size, four pieces of 2X3 in cute size,
and two pieces of 3X4 wallet-size-colored photographic prints;

SET B – P 450.00: with the inclusion of a Frame with two shots with
without the cap, one piece of 8X10 in portrait size, four pieces of 2X3
in cute size, and two pieces of 3X4 wallet-size colored photographic
prints,

WHEREAS, the official photographer and service provider, exemplifying kindness and
gratitude towards the SPTA and the school, has generously pledged to donate one (1)
unit of a 55-inch Smart Television;

WHEREAS, a Smart television in the classroom is essential and can enhance student
learning by stimulating interest, providing real-life examples, improving language
skills, fostering enthusiastic collaboration, and complementing readings, lectures, and
presentations,

WHEREAS, the schedule of picture taking is on. April 2-19, 2024, after the regular
class of Grade 10 students;

WHEREAS, the collection shall be per student and is purely voluntary,

WHEREAS, parental consent to avail of the Moving Up picture shall be required of the
student through a letter accompanied by a reply slip;

WHEREAS, the homeroom PTA treasurer shall help and coordinate the collection of
fees and shall forward it to the SPTA treasurer;

WHEREAS, the school principal shall release a memorandum regarding this activity;

WHEREAS, teachers are not part of the collection and implementation;

WHEREAS, the liquidation report will be submitted after the project;

RESOLVE FURTHER THAT, the SPTA shall oversee the collection and supervision of
this project,

RESOLVE FINALLY THAT, this resolution will be disseminated to all students and
their respective parents, guardians, and teachers.
