EXTRACURRICULAR
PROGRAMS
Girls on the Run:
This program teams up mentors
with young ladies who leap into
this running program. The
students train for a 5 K race that
supports the school and this
program.

Book Battle Team:


Students read the Sunshine State
Readers and compete against
other schools at the annual book
battle put on by the district.

Track Team:
Students practice and participate
in the SDIRC annual Billy Living’s
track meet.

Peer Mentors:
Students provide support as
well as transfer knowledge and
skills transfer to each other!

Student Council:
Student Council facilitates the
growth of student leadership
development and the sharing of
ideas for the school's growth and
also supports school &
community initiatives.

Coding Club:
This club is an opportunity for
students to learn to code and
grow in the area of technology.

Cooking Club:
Cooking Club = reading, writing,
math & fun! Students try new
things and make new friends.

SNAG Golf:
Starting New at Golf is a program
that is run by the local PGA
professionals to encourage
learning the game of golf. Athletes
learn the basics of the game and
compete in a final tournament with
other schools at a local golf club.

Chorus-Panther Performers:
Rosewood students practice and
perform for students and families
connected to themes of study,
holiday events and celebrations.

Special Olympics-Little Elites:


Students learn different team
sports through collaboration, in
inclusive environment.

Science Club:
Scientists work through the
scientific process with hands-on,
engaging, real-world scenarios.
