MIXING

 Standard Performance Topcoat can be catalyzed with V66V1020:

 For faster drying, improved block resistance, increased chemical and abrasion resistance, improved
hardness and sharper gloss, Standard Performance Topcoats may be catalyzed at a 10:1 ratio with
V66V1020 catalyst.
 Addition of catalyst may make drying times slightly faster and eliminates the critical recoat time.
 Working pot life is 8 hours maximum at room temperature.
 Catalyst contains isocyanates, read label cautions on V66V1020 before use.

MIX RATIO WHEN CATALYST IS USED:

Paint 10 parts

Catalyst (V66V1020) 1 part by volume

NOTES
 Cleanup: Ketones or Xylene recommended
 Recommended Storage: Inside, sealed container, 40-120°F, No freeze hazard. Protect from
moisture
 Package Stability: After a period of up to 24 months, paint shall remix readily to a smooth
homogenous state and shall meet all specified requirements once mixed.
 Surface Preparation (Steel or Iron): Refer to Caterpillar specification

PRODUCT LIMITATIONS
 Drying time is dependent on film thickness and atmospheric conditions. Heavier film
thickness causes slow drying.
 A critical recoat time may occur between 3 and 48 hours at room temperature. This may
fluctuate depending on temperature, film thickness and drying conditions. Test a small area first.
 No critical recoat when catalyzed
 Equipment /application guidelines are only guidelines and individual application/process
parameters will dictate exact requirements
 DO NOT VARY CATALYST RATIO Paint to be applied at mixed VOC without reduction. The
catalyst ratio has been established for optimum hardness, flexibility, gloss, and chemical and
solvent resistance.

CAUTIONS

 DANGER! Contents are FLAMMABLE. Vapors may cause flash fires. Keep away from
heat, sparks, and open flame. During use and until all vapors are gone, keep area ventilated.
Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames, pilot lights and heaters. Turn off stoves, electric tools,
appliances, and any other sources of ignition.

 CONTAINS AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS

 VAPOR HARMFUL IF INHALED. MAY AFFECT THE BRAIN OR NERVOUS SYSTEM,

CAUSING DIZZINESS, HEADACHE OR NAUSEA. IRRITATES EYES, SKIN AND
RESPIRATORY TRACT. Use only with adequate ventilation. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Wear an appropriate properly fitted vapor/particulate respirator (NIOSH/MSHA
approved) during and after application unless air monitoring demonstrates vapor/mist levels
are below applicable levels. Follow respirator manufacturer’s directions for respirator
use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands before using. Keep container closed
when not in use. Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage. Before using,
carefully read CAUTIONS elsewhere on label.

 First Aid, if inhaled: If affected, remove from exposure. Restore breating. Keep warm and
quiet.

 If on Skin: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing. Launder before re-use.

 If Swallowed: Get medical attention immediately.

 CATALYST CONTAINS ISOCYANATES. People who have chronic (long-term) lung or breathing
problems or have had a reaction to isocyanates, must not be in the area where this product is being
applied. Where overspray is present, a positive pressure air-supplied respirator should be worn. If
unavailable, a properly fitted organic vapor/particulate respirator may be effective. Consult catalyst
MSDS and product label for complete handling instructions.

 Spill and Waste: Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate and remove with intert absorbent.
Incinerate in approved facility. Do not incinerate in closed containers. Dispose of in
accordance with federal, state and local regulation regarding pollution.

 DELAYED EFFECTS FROM LONG TERM OVEREXPOSURE: Contains solvents which can
cause permanent brain damage and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by
deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal

 DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY/ KEEP OUR OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN

 FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY REFER TO MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET.

 Note: Product Data Sheets are periodically updated to reflect new information relating to the
product. It is important that the customer obtain the most recent Product Data Sheet for
the product being used. The information, rating, and opinions stated here pertain to the
material currently offered and represent the results of tests believed to be reliable. However,
due to variations in customer handling and methods of application, which are not known or

PERSONAL PROTECTION
 For use by trained professionals only.
 Read label, directions, and MSDS before use.
 Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment while mixing and spraying.
