Dear Parents/Carers This week saw the launch of our new Bookshop. There was a good buzz about the books and many children brought in money to start their stamp cards. Please remember to send any money in a labelled envelope to avoid confusion. The children all took part in the recording of a Christmas CD and we will let you know when we get the sample CD for you to listen to. Carol Phillips Acting Headteacher Absent from School ?
If your child is absent from school for any reason, please dont forget to let us know. Absences are recorded in our registers with the appropriate reason code, i.e illness, holiday, medical appointment etc. Where no reason is given the absence is recorded as unauthorised and may be investigated by the Educational Welfare Officer. Please notify us about the absence by telephoning school on 01367 860318 and selecting option 1 to leave a message. Thank you.

School Photographs deadline for all orders is Monday 21st November 2011. Tuesday 22nd November 2011 - Year 5 visit to Forest School dont forget warm clothes & waterproofs and packed lunch Friday 25th November 2011 deadline for Christmas Dinner Orders - please see attached.

This year will be held on THURSDAY 15TH DECEMBER. The menu will be as printed below. This lunch is always a very fun event and most children generally take part. Tracy, our cook, needs to know numbers in advance so please send in the slip by Friday 25th November 2011. The cost is 2.10 per child. We will endeavour to sit the children with packed lunches in the hall at the same time, so they dont miss out on the atmosphere!

Hopefully you have all received the SCPA letter which was sent home last week and have now put the date in your diary to pop along to the Christmas Fair. Just a quick reminder that if anyone would like a stall /table to sell their second hand bits & bobs please contact Emma Keating on 07717 149888. Cost is 10.00 and cheques payable to SCPA please. The boxes are now in each classroom to collect goodies for the hampers. Suggestions are chocolates, candles, Christmas decorations, food/drink items, toiletries etc etc; anything you would like to get in a hamper! The class colours/themes are Cherry Red / Maple Gold / Ginkgo Green / Oak Silver / Willow - White. Raffle tickets have gone home in book bags today please sell as many as you can for a chance to win exciting prizes!
