Fill Leg firmly with stuffing. Work 4 dc through

Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail for
sewing. Use tail to sew Legs to Body between
rnds 5 and 6
TAIL

Change to pearl grey. Continue working in stripes,
alternating 2 rnds in pearl grey, 2 rnds in slate,
ending with 3 rnds in pearl grey.
Rnd 3: [1 dc, dec2tog] 5 times. 15 sts.
Rnd 4: 15 dc.
Rnd 5: [2 dc, dec2tog] 5 times. 20 sts.
Rnds 6 – 11: 20 dc.
Rnd 12: [2 dc, dec2tog] 5 times. 15 sts.

Miss 1 st, 1 sl st in next st.
Fasten off and break yarn. Weave in end.
OUTER EAR (MAKE 2)
In pearl grey working into a magic ring 6 dc.
Cont working in a spiral.
Rnd 1: [3 dc into next st, 1 dc] 3 times. 12 sts.
Do not cut yarn. Place Outer and Inner Ear ws
together and crochet pieces together as follows.
Rnd 2: Starting in last sl st of Inner Ear, 1 dc,
[3 dc into next st, 3 dc] 2 times, 3 dc into next st,
2 dc. 18 sts.
Miss 1 st, 1 sl st in next st.
Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail. Sew
Ears to Head 6 rnds apart as illustrated.
ARM (MAKE 2)
In slate, working into a magic ring 6 dc. Cont
working in a spiral.
Rnd 1: [1 dc, 2 dc into the next st] 3 times. 9 sts.
Rnds 2 – 7: 9 dc.
Change to pearl grey.
Rnds 8 – 18: 6 dc.
Flatten the top of the leg. Close with 4 dc through
both sets of sts to close..
Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail for
sewing. Sew to sides of body on rnd 4 underneath
Head.
LARGE EYE PATCH (MAKE 2)
In slate make 6 ch.
Rnd 1: 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 dc, 4 htr into
next ch, cont on other side of ch, 4 dc. 12 sts.
Rnd 2: 1 ch, 4 dc [2 htr into next st] 4x, 4 dc,
[1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc] into next st.
Miss 1 st, 1 sl st in next st.
Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail for
sewing
SMALL EYE PATCH RIGHT
In white 1 ch through sl st from rnd 2 of large Eye
Patch. Now work BLO, 3 dc, 1 htr, [1 htr, 1 tr] into
next st, [1 tr, 1 htr] into next st, 1 sl st.
Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail for
sewing
SMALL EYE PATCH LEF T
In white 1 ch through BLO of 9th st left of sl st, in
rnd 2 of large Eye Patch. Now work BLO, [1 htr,
1 tr] into next st, [1 tr, 1 htr] into next st,1 htr, 3 dc,
1 sl st.
Fasten off and break yarn, leaving a long tail for
sewing.
SNOUT
In white, working into a magic ring 6 dc. Cont
working in a spiral.
Rnd 1: [1 dc, 2 dc into the next st] 3 times. 9 sts.
Rnd 2: [2 dc, 2 dc into next st] 3 times. 12 sts.
Rnd 3: 12 dc.
Rnd 4: [2 dc, 2 dc into next st] 4 times. 16 sts.
Rnd 5: 16 dc.
2 sl st into next st. Fasten off and break yarn,
leaving a long tail for sewing.
Fill Snout with stuffing and sew to front of head,
pointing slightly downwards.
Place Eye Patches on face as illustrated and sew
on using long tail. Using black, embroider nose
onto snout and eyes onto Eye Patches.
BUMBAG
In aqua, working into a magic ring 6 dc. Cont
working in a spiral.
Rnd 1: [2 dc into the next st], 6 times. 12 sts.
Rnd 2: [1 dc, 2 dc into next st] 6 times. 18 sts.
Rnd 3: [2 dc, 2 dc into next st] 6 times. 24 sts.
Rnds 4 – 6: 24 dc.
Make 1 t-ch, turn, and cont in rows, ending each
row with a t-ch (does not count as a st).
Row 1. 12 dc, turn.
Row 2. Miss 1 dc, 9 dc, dc2tog, turn. 10 sts.
