About QAEDs
Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED) Punjab is an ISO
Certified attached department of School Education Department under the
“Punjab Government Rules of Business 2011” with the mandate of providing
Professional Development to the 0.4 million public school teachers and
education manager all over Punjab.

In all districts of Punjab, QAED has 43 district QAEDs. In 22 districts, the


provincial QAED has established its regular 29 district QAEDs, which has
attached laboratory schools. There are 14 districts where regular QAEDs have
not been established. To meet the needs of training in these districts, the
largest higher secondary school in the district was given the status of district
QAED. These are fully equipped with required training facilities. The District
QAED Wing oversees the administration and governance of all district QAEDs.

Transforming Teaching for 21st Century Learners is very close to my
heart and my thirst. It is my belief that nations cultivate prolifi­c and
abundant outcomes by concentrating on teacher education. I am
determined to implement innovative techniques in academia and
research to crop best value in teachers. QAED Punjab is blessed
with highly qualified faculty. We have a number of M.Phil, Ph.Ds,
and scholars at District QAEDs and QAED Punjab. I am engrossed to
augment this asset more with capacity building trainings and
gratifying orientations. Student focused and innovative teaching is
QAED’s main objective to entertain 21st century learners.

Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development, Punjab is an
apex training institution for professional development of
approximately 0.4 million human resources of the School Education
Department, Govt. of Punjab. QAED has major responsibilities of
Continuous Professional Development(CPD), Early Childhood
Education(ECE), Induction Training, Promotion Linked Training(PLT)
specailized trainings of Education Managers and Teachers. District
QAEDs in all over Punjab are playing a significant role in capacity
building of teachers simultaneously. We are striving our best to
improve teaching quality to achieve excellence in the classroom.

Teachers possess the remarkable ability to profoundly impact
students' lives; therefore, it is paramount that educators are not
only motivated but also proficient in both subject matter and
pedagogical practices. As the leader of the field team, I am
committed to fostering continuous professional growth among our
in-service teachers, while also nurturing the comprehensive
development of our pre-service educators. Our aspiration for
quality education has propelled us to undertake various initiatives
in this regard. These include the establishment of centers of
excellence, the plantation drive, the implementation of the Activity-
Based Learning (ABL) method, the initiation of resources such as
stationary, old books and uniform banks to support both high
achievers and underprivileged learners. Additionally, we have
prioritized the establishment of daycare centers ECE rooms to
facilitate the holistic development of our learners.

Sargodha Clinches Second Place in All-Punjab Naat Qirat
Competition
Zain ul Abideen, a student of the Attached Lab Model Higher Secondary School Sargodha,
has secured the second position in the prestigious all-Punjab Naat and Qirat competition
held in Provincial QAED, Lahore on 16th August, 2023. This remarkable achievement is not
only a testament to his exceptional talent and hard work but also highlights the importance
of co-curricular activities in shaping a well-rounded individual. This success also reflects the
commitment of QAED Sargodha towards promoting and supporting co-curricular activities. It
emphasizes the importance of providing students with platforms to showcase their diverse
talents, enabling them to explore their passions and interests beyond academics.

team triumphed in the 53rd Jaffar
Memorial Inter School Hockey
Championship held at Aitcheson College
Lahore. Under the guidance of Coach
PET Imran Khan, the team underwent
rigorous training, leading to an
exceptional performance on the field.
Despite having less resources and facing
tough competition, the team emerged
victorious. showcasing remarkable
talent, teamwork, and determination.
This historic win not only underscores
the school's sporting prowess but also
exemplifies the values of discipline and
perseverance.

Aqsa Naveed Clinches First Position in Punjab, Wins 25000
Cash Prize at QAED Punjab, Lahore.

Aqsa Naveed continued her journey of success by excelling academically and showcasing
her talents beyond the classroom. In 2023, she participated in a prestigious “Naat -e- Rasool
(SAWW)” competition at QAED Punjab, Lahore. With her melodious voice and heartfelt
delivery, Aqsa captivated both the audience and judges. Her dedication to perfecting the art
of “Naat” recitation was evident in every performance which enabled her earn the first
position in the competition. This success not only showcased Aqsa's artistic abilities but also
highlighted her ability to excel in diverse fields. Her story inspires others to pursue their
passions wholeheartedly, demonstrating that dedication and perseverance leads to success.

Iqra Fatima, a student of Pre-service B.Ed


(Hons) program participated in Regional
Level Urdu speech competition in 2023 and
got 1st position in this competition. She
proved to be an outstanding communicator
of national language.

Rashna Bibi Secures 2nd Place in Divisional-Level English Speech


Competition
Rashna Bibi, of the Pre-service B.Ed (1.5) program took part in English Speech
competition at the Divisional level and stood 2nd in the competiton.

Excellence in Recitation: Iqra Kainat Triumphs in District-Level Qiraat


Competition
Iqra Kainat, a brilliant student of B.Ed (1.5) program,
participated in the district-level Qiraat Competition
and secured the top position. Her recitation of
verses from the Holy Book deeply immersed the
listeners. Her heartfelt dedication and long-held
commitment to excellence were evident, and her
performance was greatly appreciated by all.

School chiniot has always shown excellent results
in SSC Examination. This year SSC Student of Lab
school Muhammad Zulqarnain got First Position in
District chiniot, securing 1058/1100 marks. It's a
moment of immense pride for QAED Chiniot as
Muhammad Zulqarnain emerges as the top
performer in the Board exams, reflecting the
institution's commitment to academic excellence.
Zulqarnain's remarkable achievement of clinching
the first position in the Matric exams is a testament
to his dedication, hard work, and intellectual
capabilities.

Mr. Ghulam Farid was student of Attached Lab


Model Higher Secondary school Kasur , in
1980. He has served as Commissioner
Gujranwala Division, Secretary School SED, DG
PHA, Special Secretary SED, and Deputy
Commissioner in various districts of the Punjab.

Major Dr. Khalid Mehmood Ranja is the most


oft -quoted doctor of SAARC countries. He is
an alumni of District QAED Ghakhar,
Gujranwala. He did his Matriculation from Lab
School attached with District QAED Ghakhar in
1978 and got 2nd position in BISE, Lahore. He
as Secretary
stood 2nd in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) in BISE,
Lahore.. Being a captain doctor, he was the
topper. He did skin specialization, MCPS and
FCPS. He has the prestige of being 2nd Ph.D
holder in skin in Asia at the preliminary stage.
He is serving the Pakistan in true letter and
spirit. We are proud of him.

It is a matter of utmost esteem and prestige
that an alumni of District QAED, Ghakhar,
Gujranwala, Prof. Humayyon Dar is a world
renowned Islamic finance expert in UK. He did
his Matriculation from Lab School attached
with District QAED Ghakhar, Gujranwala in
1984. He advises a large number of banks and
financial institutions globally on Islamic banking
issues. Presently, He is serving as DG
Cambridge institute of Islamic finance.

Waqas Nazir Deputy Inspector General (DIG)
was a student of Govt. Lab Model Higher
Secondary School attached with District QAED
Kot Adu. in 1981 to 1983. DIG Waqas Nazir has
been posted as DIG Operations Punjab. He
belongs to the 28th Common of Pakistan Police
Service and joined the Police Service in 2001 as
an ASP. Waqas Nazir has extensive experience
of performing duties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as
well as Punjab.

Amjad Ali Khan Niazi is a Pakistani politician


who had been a member of the National
Assembly of Pakistan from August, 2018 till
January, 2023. Previously he was a member of
the National Assembly from June, 2013 to May
2018. He remained the student of the Attached
Govt. Lab Model Higher Secondary School
District QAED Mianwali.

Surgeon Professor Dr. Rizwan Ullah Chatta ,A
renowned Ear Nose Throat (ENT) specialist has
been the student of Attached Govt. Lab Model
Higher Secondary School District QAED,
Sargodha.

Urooj Mubashar, a distinguished graduate of


District QAED Gakkhar, obtained her B.Ed
Elementary in 2003 and later pursued an M.Phil
in Zoology from Govt College Uninversity
(GCU) Lahore in 2008. Making history, she
became the first female Subject Specialist
Biology at QAED Gakkhar, She received
professional development trainings from
Plymouth State University, USA, and the British
Council, UK. Since 2008, she has been a
guiding light at District QAED Gakkhar and
QAED Punjab, Lahore, empowering educators
and fostering pathways to success.

Sundas Yaqoob was student of B.Ed Hon at


district QAED Islamabad in session 2015-2019.
Sundas has consistently made her mark in
as Secretary securing
academics 3.84 CGPA. After
completing her graduation she appeared for
PPSC Exam, passed the test and now she is
working as a lecturer in Education at Wiqar-un-
Nisa Graduate College for Women Rawalpindi.

Nankana Sahib, Bhakkar, Vehari, Faisalabad,

Presently, He is serving as Divisional Director
(SE) of Sargodha Division.

Dr. Zahid Muhammad Ali Passed B. Ed in


Session 2008-09 from District QAED, Narowal.
Currently, he serving as Lecturer in Urdu at
Govt. Graduate College, Shakargarh.

Ms. Fouzia Ashraf, a distinguished alumni of


district QAED Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, completed
as Secretary
her M.Ed. in 2006-07. Currently, she shines as
a Senior Subject Specialist (Edu.), in district
QAED Kot Lakhpat.

Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, an alumni of Attached
Govt. Lab Model Higher Secondary School
district, QAED Gakkhar, currently serving as an
Associate Professor at the Department of Plant
Breeding and Genetics, University of the
Punjab, Lahore. With 92 scientific research
papers published, 13 high-impact research
projects led, and numerous accolades including
the Research Productivity Award from the
Pakistan Council for Science and Technology.
He has significantly advanced agricultural
research in Pakistan. Additionally, his
international collaborations aim to transform
hybrid rice production in the country.

Mrs. Fatima Rabil excelled academically,


obtaining a B.Ed and a M.Ed with high first
divisions from district QAED Gakkhar,
Gujranwala. Her scholastic prowess led to her
successful appointment as Subject Specialist
Education through the PPSC in her initial
attempt and appointed at district QAED,
Gujranwala.

Riffat Bibi: A Journey of


Resilience and Determination

Once upon a time in a small town, there lived a determined girl named Riffat Bibi. Coming
from a humble family, where financial struggles were a constant companion, Riffat's dream
of becoming a doctor seemed like an impossible feat. However, her unwavering spirit and
resilience turned her journey into a remarkable success story. Riffat’s parents worked
tirelessly to make ends meet, but their limited resources couldn't fully support her
educational aspirations. Undeterred by the challenges, Riffat excelled in her studies, with
financial support from the teachers' community of district QAED Female D.G. Khan. She
became a beacon of hope for her family, showcasing that ambition and hard work could
triumph over adversity.

Despite limited access to resources, she utilized public libraries, online materials, and
sought guidance from teachers who recognized her potential. Riffat's commitment to her
education fueled her determination to break free from the constraints of her
circumstances. Riffat's journey to medical college was not without sacrifices. She
balanced part-time jobs with her studies, proving that hard work and dedication could
bridge the gap between financial constraints and ambitious dreams.

Finally, the day arrived when Riffat passed her entrance exams with exceptional marks and
gained admission to Ghazi Medical College. She is now in her third year of MBBS. Her
achievement wasn't just personal; it became a testament to the power of resilience and
determination. Riffat's success story ignited hope and inspired countless others to pursue
their dreams, demonstrating that one's background should never limit their potential. Her
journey serves as a reminder that adversity can be a stepping stone to success and that
the human spirit, when fueled by ambition and perseverance, can overcome even the

The Journey of Academic Excellence:


Muhammad Salahuddin Buzdar

Muhammad Salahuddin Buzdar, a recent graduate of the intermediate level, has


successfully passed the F.Sc examination from Attached Govt. Lab Model Higher
Secondary School, district QAED (Male) D. G Khan.

Muhammad Salahuddin is the son of Rahmatullah Buzdar he is a hardworking and


dedicated Subject Specialist in Mathematics at Attached Govt. Lab Model Higher
Secondary School, district QAED (Male) D. G Khan. He hails from a middle-class family,
originally from a remote and underdeveloped area of Tehsil Taunsa Sharif, District D.G
Khan.

In his SSC exam in the year 2018, Muhammad Salahuddin achieved an outstanding score
of 1069 out of 1100 marks, followed by an impressive performance in the F.Sc. (pre-
medical group) in the year 2020, where he scored 1044 out of 1100 marks. His exceptional
academic achievements earned him the 3rd position in all district QAED attached lab
schools.

In recognition of his remarkable success, he was awarded a certificate for best


performance by the honorable Education Minister during a ceremony held at QAED
Punjab, Lahore. His entire family is well-educated, with his elder brother being an
orthopedic doctor.

Muhammad Salahuddin is currently pursuing his studies in the 3rd year of MBBS at Quaid-
e-Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur. The institute acknowledges and celebrates his
success, extending best wishes for his prosperous future.

From Struggle to Success: Aiman


Ishaq's Educational Odyssey

Aiman Ishaq's journey as a dedicated student at district QAED, Khanpur, reflects the
profound impact of education and the unwavering support of her family and educational
institutions. Influenced by her father's sacrifices as a shopkeeper to provide her and her
siblings with quality education, Aiman learned the value of perseverance and
determination from an early age.
Despite facing financial hardships when her father's shop closed during her middle school
years, Aiman remained resolute in her pursuit of education. The closure posed significant
challenges for her family, but Aiman's commitment to her academic aspirations remained
steadfast.
With determination and the support of scholarships, Aiman overcame these obstacles to
excel academically. Despite initial objections and financial constraints, she embraced her
dreams and achieved remarkable results in both her SSC and HSSC examinations. Her
academic success, coupled with her resolve to teach tuition to support her education,
showcases the importance of hard work and perseverance in the face of adversity.
Aiman's story serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of education
and the invaluable support provided by institutions QAED. Despite the initial financial
hurdles, the compassionate staff at QAED recognized her potential and provided the
encouragement and assistance she needed to thrive academically.
Now in her 5th semester at QAED Khanpur, Aiman continues to demonstrate her
dedication and academic prowess by consistently achieving A grades in all her semesters.
Her journey exemplifies the transformative impact of educational institutions in
empowering students to overcome adversity and achieve their goals.
By contributing to educational initiatives, we can empower more students like Aiman to

The Unyielding Spirit: Abrar's Journey


from Adversity to Achievement

In the heart of Chishtian, amidst the struggles of poverty and the aspirations of youth,
lived a determined young soul named Abrar. Born into a family burdened by financial
hardship, Abrar's journey through education was fraught with challenges. Yet, his
unwavering determination and passion for learning illuminated his path, guiding him
towards a future filled with promise.
Abrar's educational odyssey began at Attacheed Govt. Lab Model Higher secondary
school Chishtian, a modest institution nestled within the community. Despite the limited
resources and opportunities, Abrar embraced his studies with fervor, excelling
academically under the guidance of dedicated teachers. However, as he progressed to
higher classes, the absence of a Higher section at Lab School QAED Chishtian compelled
him to seek education from some other school.
Undeterred by the obstacles in his path, Abrar continued his quest for knowledge,
enrolling in a nearby school to complete his matriculation. It was during this time that
Abrar discovered his fervent passion for martial arts, particularly karate. Though financial
constraints prevented him from formal training, Abrar's innate curiosity and determination
led him to master the art through self-study and practice.
Saleem Akhi, a revered figure in Chistian’s martial arts community, recognized Abrar's
unwavering dedication and talent, extending both financial support and invaluable
mentorship. With Akhi's guidance and encouragement, Abrar honed his skills, earning an
impressive array of accolades, including 16 winning medals in various national-level
tournaments such as the Bahawalpur, Multan ,Okara Sports Program Championship and
the list of his winnings goes on. He attained a black belt in martial arts through national
competitions. His prowess extended beyond national borders, as evidenced by his
triumph in the Republic Day World Virtual Karate Championship in 2021, where he brought
home an international medal, elevating Pakistan's standing on the global stage.
Additionally, Abrar's commitment to his craft led him to pursue a refereeing course in
Okara, further enhancing his expertise, and he participated as a referee in another
international competition named "WORLD WIDE GOJU-RYU E-KATA”.

A MOTIVATIONAL STORY OF
MARYAM REHMAT

I would start this success story with this beautiful saying “Those who read lead” Education
is the best source of bringing change and improvement in life. We have many people in
our surrounding who started life at very low level. They got their early education in remote
areas mainstream schools with less facilities.
The name of our student is Maryam Rehmat and she is from Lahore. In 2023, she was
selected as lecturer in Education by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) and
currently, she is teaching as a lecturer Education in Rawalpindi. This dream job was
beyond her expectations she told. Basically she was a bright student with Science
background. She passed F.Sc (pre medical) with good marks but could not get admission
in any medical college so, she decided to change her field of career. She explained her
experience and said, “To enroll in B.Ed (Hons) was a nightmare to me. But as soon I got
engage with this field, I found it really interesting and challenging. district QAED Lahore
has changed my approach regarding this field. This Institute gave me so much
opportunities to explore novelty in education field and make me a problem solver with
acquisition of real life skills. I admit, I was an introvert with no social skills at all, but now I
am a beneficial social figure of society just because of QAED kot lakhpat, Lahore. This
Institute made me acquainted with such learning experiences that are still providing me
the base to new explorations. The credit of my success goes to the faculty and
administration of QAED Kot lakhpat Lahore. I am really grateful to district QAED for making
me what I am today”. We can conclude our success story with these words

pursue academic excellence.
QAED BAHAWALPUR

The Unyielding Spirit: Lubna Bibi’s


triumph over adversity

Once upon a time, in a small village lived a poor girl named Lubna bibi. Born into a humble
family. Despite financial constraints, Lubna’s father who was daily wage laborer sent her
daughter in a government school. She was struggling hard with her limited resources.
Lubna’s life took an unexpected turn when she lost her right arm in a tragic road accident
at the age of 14. Lubna recovered after a longtime but she embraced the challenges with
unwavering courage. She started writing with left hand which was quite difficult but not
impossible. Lubna’s resilience and dedication caught the attention of her teachers of
district QAED (F), D.G. Khan, who provided additional support to accommodate her unique
needs. Through the hard work and perseverance, Lubna consistently passed her exams of
matriculation and intermediate.
During her college years, Lubna actively participated in extracurricular activities, breaking
stereotype and encouraging inclusively. A turning point came when a local NGO noticed
Lubna’s determination and offered her a clerical job after intermediate to support her
family. Her journey did not stop. She is still determined to continue her further studies and
she wants to become a civil servant. Lubna’s story serves as a beacon of hope, illustrating
that with determination, resilience and supportive teachers, one can triumph over
adversity and may dream for success.

Uzair's Quest: From Brilliance in Education to


Mastery in Computer Science
With a passion for computer science and a drive for excellence, he excelled in his F.Sc Pre-
Engineering at Govt. Lab Higher Secondary School Bahawalpur, securing 1025 out of 1100
marks. Awarded as a star student by QAED Lahore, he demonstrated ambition and energy.
Through personal projects like a Portfolio Web-App and an Online Furniture Store, he
showcased his skills in React.js, HTML/CSS, and more. His commitment to learning is
evident in completing courses like React Basics by Meta and Developing Front-end Apps
with React by IBM. Additionally, he gained practical experience through the Backend-

Dr. Ahmad Mehmood Kaawish


Principal QAED Narowal

Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Kaawish started his teaching career from Aitchison College, Lahore.
Later, he was selected as Subject Specialist in the School Education Department. He
served in various institutions. He spent the last 23 years of his career at QAED Narowal in
various positions. Before assuming the charge of Principal in 2014, he served as Subject
Specialist, Senior Subject Specialist and Vice Principal. He set a high example of
dedication and commitment, and earned the fame and good name that few people get.

Dr. Kaawish received his Ph.D in Urdu from Punjab University, Lahore. His thesis titled
"‫ احوال و ٓاثار‬:‫ "مشفق خواجہ‬has been published in book form and has received praise and
appreciation from scholars and critics. Several articles and columns have been written on
the works of Dr. Kaawish.
Dr. Kaawish has also been associated with the authoring of textbooks. He wrote five Urdu
books and translated two books from Urdu to English for the Punjab Curriculum and
Textbook Board, Lahore. He translated three books from Urdu to English for Azad Kashmir
Textbook Board. During the past two decades, he has been a part of the team engaged in
developing material at Directorate of Staff Development (QAED), Lahore.

Dr. Kaawish has played a key role in the preparation of Teachers’ Guides for classes I to
VIII. He has also proved his skills as a trainer. He has served as lead trainer at various times
under the umbrella of QAED, Punjab.
Other than textbooks and training material, he has 16 books to his credit on literary and
research topics. He also has the honour of being a part of the Editorial Board and Advisory
Board of an international research journal "‫"فیضاِن ادب‬published in India. Dozens of his
articles have been published in national and international journals.
In recognition of Dr. Kaawish's services, the Government of the Punjab honoured him with
Star Education Leader Award in 2017. Recently he translated the website of School
Education Department from English to Urdu. For this effort, he was awarded a Certificate
of Appreciation by the Special Secretary School. Covering the literary works in prose of Dr,
Kaawish, an M.Phil level thesis has also been written on him.

Mr. Muhammad Amjad Khan is serving as Vice Principal at QAED Sahiwal, is highly
motivated and dedicated trainer with about three decades of experience in the field of
teacher training. He holds a M.Phil degree in Botany and masters in teacher education. He
has special interest in instructional design, pedagogy and leadership. He has proven track
record of inspiring and empowering educators to excel in their profession.
He is enjoying honor and cordial respect not only from hundreds of trainees, colleagues,
but also from the esteemed institutions like QAED Punjab, Pre-step (USAid) British
Council, PCTB, Literate Punjab Programme Lahore and BISE Sahiwal. He has availed the
training opportunities from British Council at Manchester (UK), DSD Lahore, QAED Lahore,
NEAS Islamabad and USAid PK. He earned repute and honor as he has vast experience to
work as Master Trainer in Punjab Science project, in SMIC, PMSP, Biology, District Subject
Experts Biology, Induction level trainings, promotion link Trainings and SLDP programme.
He also enjoyed repute as Lead Trainer for SLDP, Core Skills and ISA programme and
Instructional leadership programmes. He has also served as super trainer and Key Trainer
for science teachers with DSD Lahore. More over his services as Trainer of Trainer (TOT
for foundation modules with USAid Pk) are also unforgettable. Some other aspects of his
personality are also reflected from his contributions as Material Developer for PITE, DSD
and PCTB Lahore. He has also showed his excellence as Test item developer with PEACE
Lahore and as Test administrator with NEAS Islamabad. His excellent communication skills,
command over the concerned materials and sense of humor have made him sparkling
gem among the community of trainers. He has trained teachers in different educational
settings ie from primary to higher level teacher. His diverse experience has provided him
with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in different
educational contexts.
He is fueled by a deep passion for training and a genuine desire to have positive impact on
lives of trainees and transform them in reflective personalities. He works with enthusiasm
and strive for excellence and always stays updated on educational trends, ensuring that
his training sessions become most effective and innovative. His training skills of
communication and use of humor enabled him to leave long lasting impact on teachers
and student community.

Muhammad Ajmal Khan, currently serving as Vice-Principal at QAED Narowal, embodies a

With over two and a half decades of experience in the education sector, he has earned
honors from esteemed institutions such as the British Council for his exemplary work in
various educational projects. His extensive training, including international programs at
the University of Montana, USA, and British Council South Africa, has enriched his teaching
methodologies and leadership skills. As a lead trainer and module developer, Ajmal Khan
has imparted his expertise to over 10,000 educators, aiming to uplift rural communities
through quality education. Now serving as a Teacher Trainer at QAED Punjab, he
continues his transformative journey, collaborating with stakeholders to create lasting
impacts on learners and educators alike. His commitment to education as a catalyst for
positive change drives his mission to make a meaningful difference in the realm of
learning.

Muhammad Ajmal Khan's professional journey is characterized by a steadfast commitment


to educational excellence and continuous professional growth. Beginning his service as a
lecturer in 1996, he has since held various esteemed positions within the School Education
Department. His tenure at QAED Punjab began in the year 2000, where he currently
serves in B.S.19, has been marked by numerous achievements, including ranking first as
Master Trainer at DSD/QAED and validation as a trainer by esteemed institutions like the
British Council and the United Nations Development Program. Ajmal Khan's proficiency in
communication, presentation, and teacher training skills, coupled with his academic
qualifications in English Linguistics and Education, positions him as a dynamic leader in the
field of education. Beyond his professional endeavors, he finds joy in hobbies such as
playing cricket and badminton, reflecting his holistic approach to life and his commitment
to nurturing the potential of youth through various platforms, including social media.
QAED SARGODHA

Lubna Feroze Shah


Sr. SS (CS) QAED Sargodha

Lubna Feroze, a Senior Subject Specialist in Computer Science at the Quaid e Azam
Academy for Educational Development (QAED) Sargodha since 2013, has made significant
contributions to the educational landscape. She has led various in-service capacity-
building programs, equipping approximately 12,000 educators with the confidence to
seamlessly integrate educational technology into their classroom practices. Her expertise
extends to fostering ICT skills, nurturing school leadership, and promoting 21st-century
core competencies.
Lubna was selected as the Lead Trainer for a collaborative project between QAED and the
British Council, where she played a pivotal role in the “School Leadership and
Development Program (SLDP).” Her accreditations as a Lead Trainer come from Imagine
Education UK and the Institute of Leadership and Management UK. Beyond Pakistan, she
collaborated with Facebook’s Asia Pacific region, serving as a content reviewer for their
“Think Digital Programme.” During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the focal person from
QAED, she facilitated the transition of British Council Pakistan’s teacher training programs
to synchronous online mode for the training of teachers across Punjab.
Lubna’s commitment to educational excellence extends to her role as a Microsoft
Innovative Educator Expert (2021-22). Recently, she developed and led QAED’s “21st
Century Digital Skills” program, benefiting 8,000 IT teachers across the province.
Additionally, she worked as a content developer for the modules, “Beginners ICT Guide for
Educators and School Leaders” and “STEM Education in Punjab,” for the QAED Punjab
trainings.
She also served as a Task Group Member representing Punjab, contributing to the co-
construction of the “National Professional Standards for Head Teachers in Pakistan”
alongside experts from all provinces, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Special
Education, and British Council Consultants from Scotland.

Urooj Mubashar
Sr. SS (Bio) QAED Gujranwala

Urooj Mubashar, currently serving as Senior Subject Specialist (Biology) and Lead Trainer
at Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development in Gakkhar, Gujranwala, under
the auspices of the Government of Punjab's School Education Department, boasts a rich
and diverse professional journey in the field of education. With a tenure dating back to the
autumn of 2008, she has established herself as a distinguished educator and an advocate
for pedagogical innovation. Her experience spans over a decade, during which she has

pioneered online training programs and leveraged various platforms to disseminate
knowledge effectively. In essence, Urooj Mubashar stands as a shining example of passion,

Fouzia Ashraf, working as Senior Subject Specialist (Education BS-18) in QAED Kot lakhpat
(Lahore) is a creative and passionate teacher trainer who has 13 years of experience in the
field of Education. Fouzia is always fascinated by the art of teaching and the profound
impact it could have on shaping young minds. She started her journey as a teacher in
QAED Kotlakhpat Lahore, where she poured her heart and soul into her work, constantly
seeking innovative ways to engage her students and make learning a joyful experience.

She was selected as Master trainer in 2012 in USAID teacher Education Project and
conducted trainings all over the Punjab. She was Selected and validated by BRITISH
COUNCIL in 2014 and selected as LEAD TRAINER in school leadership and development
program. She gained a good repute as LT and conducted man trainings. As an educational
trainer, she had the opportunity to work with educators from diverse backgrounds and
disciplines. She relished the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals,

enrolment of Out of School Children. He declared the Pre-service Students as"
Ambassadors of QAED Punjab" and adviced them to play active role in enhancing

During the visit, Director General Rana interacted with students, toured various
facilities including the STEM lab, ECE & Kids Room, and inaugurated several initiatives
such as; Stationery Bank, Old Book Bank, Shoe Rack, and Uniform Bank. He also
inaugurated a Day Care center and Plant Nursery, Additionally, he inaugurated the
Assessment Lab & Ladies Change Room and initiated a Tree Plantation Campaign by
planting an Araucaria Plant. Throughout the visit, Director General Rana engaged with
staff and students, showing keen interest in their activities and initiatives. Later on the
esteemed guests were given presentation about the college. Worthy Director General
also addressed the audience. The honorable guests were presented souvenirs for their
services & visit to the District QAED Chiniot.
SARGODHA

On March 8, 2024, Director General


QAED, Tajammal Abbas Rana,
undertook a scheduled visit to QAED
Sargodha. He was accompanied by Dr.
Shakeela DD (District QAEDs), Adeel
Khurshid Assistant Director (District
QAEDs) and Muhammad Imran
Cameraman . During the visit, Director
General Tajammal Abbas Rana
inaugurated key facilities including the
Main Gate, Day Care room, STEM Lab,
and Green Belt
area, emphasizing a conducive learning environment. He also praised the IT staff
during a tour of the e-library and computer lab for their technological advancements.
He inaugurated a Book Bank at the attached lab school, acknowledging the institution's
commitment to literacy. Director General Tajammal Abbas Rana commended the
school's hockey team for their 2nd position in the Jaffar Memorial. Ms. Lubna Feroz
Shah highlighted QAED's programs and infrastructure in a presentation. Director
General Abbas appreciated the staff, extending gratitude to Principal Ghazal Noureen
for her efforts in enhancing pre-service education standards at district QAED
Sargodha. Principal Muhammad Aslam was commended for academic and co-curricular
achievements of attached Lab School. The Director General QAED Punjab presented
appreciation certificates to the staff of QAED Sargodha.

Lahore, Muhammad Tajammal Abbas
Rana, visited QAED Mianwali on 9-03-
2024. He was accompanied by RPM
Sargodha Faisalabad region, Fateh
Muhammad Sabir. Upon arrival, he was
warmly welcomed and presented with
a guard of honor by Boy Scouts. During
the visit, Director General Rana
interacted with students, toured
various facilities including the STEM

lab, ECE & Kids Room, and inaugurated several initiatives such as; the Stationery Bank,
Book Bank, Shoe Rack, Uniform Bank and Student Kitchen. He also inaugurated a Day
Care center and Plant Nursery, Additionally, he inaugurated the Assessment Lab &
Ladies Common Room. Later, the esteemed guests were given a presentation about

guests were presented souvenirs for their services & visit to QAED Mianwali. He
