Guided paragraph: assignment 1

1. Write the title on the top line at the centre. Put your full name after that.

2. Then, copy the topic sentence you want to write about from the test. Then

continue writing support for it.

3. Write continuously. Do not start a new sentence on a new line.

4. ALWAYS DOUBLE SPACE (Write on every second line).

5. Begin each sentence with a capital letter.

6. End each sentence with a period.

What you must have in your paragraph:

1. One of the topic sentences that is given to you and will introduce the topic and
control of the paragraph.

2. You must give at least 2-3 specific details to support this topic sentence in your
paragraph with some examples.

3. The final or concluding sentence which paraphrases or restates the main idea
from the topic sentence.

4. Words you must add: 130-150 words after the topic sentence

REMEMBER:

Don’t repeat your ideas.

Don’t put in ideas that don’t support your topic sentence.
