1. Duration of Course:
The course of the degree of Bachelor of Laws (Five Year Course) shall be spread over five
academic years to be called Part-I, Part-II, Part-III, Part-IV and Part-V consisting of two
semesters each Part.
2. Maximum period for passing the Course
The candidate must pass all the subjects of all the semesters of BBA. LLB(H) within a period
of 8 years from the date of joining the course, failing which his/her registration will be
cancelled.
3. Eligibility for admission
A student shall be admitted to BBA. LLB(H) Part – I (1st Semester) must fulfil all of the
following criteria:
An applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’)
or equivalent (such as 11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving certificate course)
from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or
equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from
any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of that
country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of
the course, may apply for and be admitted into the program of the Centres of Legal
Education to obtain the integrated degree in law with a degree in any other subject as
the first degree from the University whose such a degree in law is recognized by the
Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment. Provided that applicants who have
obtained + 2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate after
prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as
eligible for admission in the Integrated Five Years course.
The minimum percentage of marks must not be below 45% of the total marks in case
of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST
applicants, to be obtained for the qualifying examination, such as +2 Examination in
case of Integrated Five Years’ course for the purpose of applying for and getting
admitted into a Law Degree Program of any recognized University in either of the
streams. Provided that such a minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle
a person to get admission into an institution but only shall entitle the person concerned
to fulfil other institutional criteria notified by the institution concerned or by the
government concerned from time to time to apply for admission.
No age limit.
Admission to this course shall be made on the basis of such principles of selection as
may be laid down by the admission team.
Those who will be declared eligible for admission shall have to pay all charges required
for admission within a time limit as may be fixed.

5. Medium of Instructions:
The medium of instruction during the course and examinations shall be English.

8. Classes- It will be held in university campus at Haringhata on weekdays during the day.
9. Selection: Selection will be done strictly on the basis of overall marks obtained in the last
qualifying examination(s).
